Don’t be slack

Come on Technogym & devs … don’t be slack, sort your freaking pop out !!

You know what’s wrong with it your just not fixing it !!

- blue on a black background- come on !!
- adding new exercise to own workout on the fly - not showing up
- simple crashes
- freezing
- confusing home page UI
- disjointed UX
- just to name a couple of things !!

Yes it’s a free app & that’s much appreciated but .. it’s not though is it .. people use your app & therefore use your equipment & therefore buy your equipment !! - so long story short !! The better your app is the better you’ll impress people who are buying your things !!

Doesn’t sync with Apple Fitness

The old app is great and syncs to Apple Fitness and Health when I finished a workout. Technogym have forced my gym to move to this new inferior app and it’s garbage as it doesn’t show any workouts once completed in Apple Fitness. It’s supposed to incentivise you to work but if you’re sharing activity with friends, you may as well write off your workout as your friends won’t know and neither does it add anything to closing your rings.

I have tried a lot of things to get it to work and annoyingly the old app works perfectly but as it is being switched off in a month, I can’t keep using it.

I would suggest using Apple Fitness instead and avoid this app.

Can’t connect with Apple Watch

Wondering why I cannot connect the Apple Watch to any Technogym equipment. Every treadmill comes with “unable to connect”

Is this a paying app?

Tried downloading and immediately got take to my Apple Pay function. It doesn’t say anywhere on the app description that this is a subscription. If so no thanks.

Expected more

Given the brand I expected more from the app. Your machines are great and high tech but your app needs a lot of work. It’s very slow and clunky and the UX isn’t great. I feel the app is designed to collect data rather than try and give you insights. It doesn’t sync with the Apple Watch or Apple Health so you don’t get any tracking benefits. And I tried to delete my account and the app makes it hard to do that. There are much better alternatives out there and I don’t feel this app has the best intentions in mind for your data.

Good app but needs some tweaks

Helpful app to track what you do and has some handy workouts on there for you to follow. My main complaint is sometimes it finishes off your workout without you doing it, wish there was either a way to reload a day or restart an exercise which is marked done when it isn’t.

Buggy and data hog

Multiple times now this app has lost my workout. Sometimes when trying to edit a workout, all the exercises get replaced by other random and unrelated ones when I try to save the changes. There’s no easy way to recreate it from a previous work out or see the weights and reps in a previous workout when you to try to recreate what was lost.

Also, this app is an absolute data pig. It uses more data in a month than any other app. Some of don’t have unlimited data. Not sure what it’s doing or why or how to stop it. Then of course, if you have a problem with the data connection, that’s your session over and the data is probably lost.

Pretty good but…

I like the idea of it and the workout plans are great. It won’t change from lbs to kg no matter how many times I try to switch it. Also some exercises I wanted to do/look for weren’t on the app.

Not great but not bad

Find complicated to navigate, keeps switching my music off when moving through from one exercise to another and have to close down and restart both again. Also don’t like the fact if you come out the app during a rest period the timer doesn’t continue to count down, it should be in the background like other apps can and do.

Not the best for Gyms - can’t sync to calendar

A lot of work has been completed on the UI and training videos for people to complete which is great, however when used by gyms as an app booking system is lacking some functionality.

It’s clunky, confusing with forced workout assigned and actual classes you have chosen to book. Syncing to or with your calendar as well is a feature missing, you need to check in the app and finding booked app is not the simplest experience.

I hope it’s added in a new release.
