  • Bad for business SCAM

    I operate an STR mostly with booking.com. I did an instant payout of 350cad and the next hour, stripe put my account on hold for me provide further documentation for my business, immediately I did that i got a message that my account will be close and they weren’t refunding my balance 1450 in my account. This is ridiculous and wicked to customers. I won’t recommend stripe, it sucks !!! They told me to send am email with I have sent over 10 emails and they didn’t respond.. IS THIS A SCAM ?

    I’ve been using the website for a long time and happy so far. Maybe the negative comments I read in the reviews are for the app only. Will find out soon enough. Because I plan to use the phone more often than the laptop. Hence trying the app now.
  • worst customer service ever

    tell me why have i been waiting 3+ weeks to get paid, and they just dont reply to my emails after i’ve already sent a few.
  • Super high fees

    We have stopped accepting stripe as of today. They charge ridiculous fees. Small businesses should not even think about using this. It’s ridiculous how these companies can get away with squeezing the life blood out of small business. Shame on you.

  • Scam alert pls don’t use stripe or you will be regret

    Scam alert I wanted to share my recent experience with Stripe, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare for my international electronic parts business. I hope my story can serve as a cautionary tale for others. I've been using Stripe for payment processing, and everything was going smoothly until they suddenly halted my account after collecting $6.2k in payments from my customers. They requested my ID for verification, which I promptly provided. However, it didn't end there. They asked for my company paperwork and tax filings, and I complied with all their requests. To my shock, they decided to close my account completely and refunded the entire balance to my customers. This left me in a terrible situation – I had already shipped the parts, and now I can't get a hold of my customers. The total loss to my business is 6.2k, and the impact is severe. I'm sharing this story to caution fellow business owners about the potential risks of using Stripe. It's crucial to be aware of the challenges one might face and consider alternative payment processors. If anyone has advice on how to handle this situation or recommendations for reliable payment processors, I'd greatly appreciate it. Stay safe and vigilant in your business dealings. I will fill a complaint in BBB - any advice besides doing so to correct the situation?

  • Good mobile payment option

    It’s a good option for receiving payment but 5% on every transaction is excessive. A monthly subscription is a more sensible option. I personally won’t use this as my primary payment receiving option as I have issues with 5% transaction fee.
  • Won’t pay me out

    They won’t pay out the funds in my account. I have followed the verification criteria perfectly and have had customer support say they are taking it to an actual person. A week later, no responses and my money is sitting in my stripe account and they won’t send to my bank. I have been using wepay flawlessly for ten years with no issues. FreshBooks moves to stripe and I can’t get my net out now. One star. I’d give zero stars if I could. Beware of these bandits taking their fees and not providing a service even though you are a fully legit business with documents and years of records to prove it. Lame

  • Worst experience getting paid via strip method

    I would like to mention couple of things as i have small business, i took a card payment from a client and it was paid on 5th April 24 by a client and payment should have arrived in your account is on 11th of April 24 but here every time their commitments were getting failed, every time payment date were getting changed on payment day, second they have very high sir charges on any payment and third which last i would say their typical system and complicated application.
    I would recommend to everyone never ever try this such worst experience of my life.
