  • Amazing!

I am really surprised how much this is helping me learn a new language. The programs are great and easy to understand. Great tool for learning a new language.
  • احببته

تطبيق رائع لقد ساعدني كثير يستحق خمس نجوم
  • Great for everyday speaking

Best app I have found for learning French that is used in everyday talking. Goes at a good pace and uses just enough repetition for remembering words.
  • Parfait j’adore!

    C’est facilitant et interactif !
  • Great learning, but could have less-known languages

A language I would love to see is Dari, the Afghan dialect of persian. The Iranian persian is different from Afghan Persian and it would be greatly appreciated if I could be able to practice that instead. Thanks!
  • Thai learning

    Good app for learning
  • Impossible

it is almost impossible to learn anything from this application. the biggest technical problem is that when you don't know the question, there is neither a back button nor a skip question button. the fact that independent sentences are tried to be taught one after the other makes the situation even more absurd, unfortunately, I lost my money, so don't lose it.

  • Good interface and good alternative to Duolingo

The language that I want to learn is not that popular so Duolingo only gives me an introductory course so I am coming here for some extras because my husband has an account due to being an employee at Pearson. One thing that I have run into with speech to text in this app and also in Duolingo is whatever speech to text. They are using often chops off syllables no matter how many times I repeat a word it will leave the last syllable off of certain words. It happens intermittently so it’s hard to predict. And it’s almost certainly not the app but the speech to text engine that they’re both likely using. For example, in my Target language Finnish, you often add the suffix -ko to a verb to turn it into a question. But it often leaves that syllable which ruins the grammar of the sentence. And if you don’t have an option to correcg what is entered before the app checks it for accuracy then it gets marked wrong. in most of the Duolingo lessons you are able to correct the text before submitting, but it doesn’t always give you that option in Mondly.

My husband has also complained that it’s doing the same thing to him in French and I have noticed it in Spanish also, so I would bet that it would happen with those two languages here in Mondly if I get around to trying those. I don’t know how to complain to whoever makes the speech to text engine. But perhaps the developers could look into it.

  • Overall really good

Really good wish it had more stuff to do without paying but really worth the money if your willing to dedicate even just ten mins a day and practicing before bed. Overall really good and recommend the premium if your gonna stick at it.
