Customers dropped
For your information, Neato is going out of business or has sold their business. Their customers have been dropped. They are no longer producing parts and the app no longer updates. It’s really too bad because it was the best vacuum cleaner on the market. Maybe it was too good…App is not connecting anymore
It was a wonderful product until the new German parent company ruined it. The app keeps saying “It seems like you are not connected to the internet.” Even though I am connected. Reconnected my D7 and it didn’t change anything. From reading Reddit threads and other people experience with technical support it is the issue with their servers in Italy after they decided to terminate agreement with AWS. I spend more time trying to connect the neato bot to my wifi then it spends vacuuming! Even after getting connected all is lost the next time I go to use itMy app is up to date and it keeps saying app update required and I cannot use it

Just keeps sending me to a password reset page when clicking on the link in the email. UselessCompany has abandoned users
Gone from bad to worse. Now it won’t save a new floor plan after deleting old. Won’t show any floor plan after hoovering.
Probably been blacklisted on the neato server due to being honest with my review!
Zones don’t work. Schedules don’t work. Robot doesn’t load a map. Totally abandoned by neoto robotics. Take heed if you’re reading this and thinking of buying their latest robot as they’ll do the same to you. Still have this issues Neato never fix it so can no longer recommend neato. Have two bases, one on ground floor. One on upper floor. Moving neato robot between bases often means neato won’t hoover, complaining no floor map or just doing the space around the base. Just rubbish really. And yes both floors have been mapped, schedules set up for each day. And no I don’t want to keep rebooting the robot or reloading software or remapping floors. If I press the button on the robot itself it will Hoover the whole floor. This is a software problem which neato refuse to fix. Sad as I really like the robot.Show lessDeveloper Response

App is complete crap. Never worked consistently. Either connection drops, or app update required. Reset after reset after reset to get the vac connected again and again has finally broken me. Time to scrap this and move to iRobot. Why can't Neato fix this?Floor plan error
Worked great for years. Now it just says floor plan could not be loaded and just buffers rendering the vacuum useless. Every time I contact support, the blame is on me for changing something and not a defective product or problematic software. Was offered a 20% off coupon but was told they don’t ship to Canada so there was nothing they could do.Show lessIf only I could give this 0 stars

While the company still sells D7 model, there is a problem to connect D7 in iOS 13. The app last updated 3 years ago !!!
