BEWARE OF DEVELOPER - DO NOT USE - LOSE YOUR DATA
This developer has another app called I password which as I’m sure you’ve seen elsewhere has gone dead leaving myself and many other users without access to years worth of passwords. The developer has been completely unresponsive to all requests to restore the old app or update it so that it works with the newest version of iOS. Instead of making the old app work on the new update this app has replaced it. I, like many other users of the old app cannot believe that a password storage App would go dark after years and years of use… Even of the paid version. Do not trust this app developer. I’ll happily remove this review if the developer actually responds and gives me a way to recover all of my lost data.

The developer has an app that is called iPassword
when Apple update 14.6 The app stopped working and everybody lost all of their passwords. There was no way to retrieve them you can look for yourself on Reddit and other blogs. The idiot developer didn’t contact people soon enough or at all to let them know. So thousands of people lost all of their passwords. You will also notice this is a Chinese developer so who knows what happen with these passwords now. I had the app for a number of years and then just like that it was gone. The password program was backed up on iCloud and dropbox but it will not sync to the app if you download this one. Some people had a little bit of success of recovering some of their passwords but a lot of people cannot get any of them back. For that reason I would not trust this developer they have irresponsible policies and regardless of the Apple update they need to be on top of things like this when you’re dealing with peoples personal information especially passwords. I’m trying to keep this professional and bite my tongue because the things that I really want to say will probably get me kicked off the Apple platform I am so angry about losing hundreds of passwords. DONT USE this app,This app is the same developer and same company don’t use it!!!!!

Fix iPassword
STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP. Fix your previous software so we can use it. iPassword is the previous app that this company abandoned. DO NOT TRUST THIS APP

I have been a loyal supporter and user of iPassword for many years. I trusted it fully and I guess that is shame on me. I lost everything when IOS updated to 14.5 This has been so much more trouble than I could have ever imagined. This developer has promised an update to solve the issue for months now with still no results. I feel that the developer needs to take responsibility and give us back our data. I would even be willing to pay a small fee to get the data back if that would help in the cost of updating the app. I will never depend on one source for data like this again.
Just FYI…. Before this happened I would have given the app 5 stars all day long. I loved the app, just hate the support of recent.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH IOS 14.5!!!!!!
After updating to Apple IOS 14.5 when trying to open the app I get a message that says,
"iPassword needs to be updated. The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of IOS."
We are unable to contact the developer. The program worked great until it suddenly became unavailable after my phone updated to version 14.5."

After last IOS update can’t access anything from iPassword ….unbelievable !!!!! This one will do the the same I’m sure …only reason why there is one star it’s because they don’t allow a comment to be posted with “zero” stars …again, another lie !

In one word it’s a scam, I was a big supporter of this app, however after the latest iOS release the developer decided not to continue updating the same app ID, leaving all of us who paid for it without access to critical data as they are your passwords.
But here is where things become more interesting, Apple did not take any responsibility and the developer was unresponsive to customers pledging for support. What it’s unacceptable is that Apple allowed this developer to use the previous good reviews of the new app as nothing happened and here they continue selling it again.
Is this schema benefit both the developer and Apple, looks like both companies only want to benefit from your money without any responsibility, something is odd here.

Loyal costumers betrayed and slammed!
Your new version may be all very useful and more, but hundreds of us are still suffering the lack of support, of communication and unethical production of this app.
I personally used your app for the last 10 years and created a significantly large database of all my info in it. I would have appreciated at least some notice in order to back the data up and transfer it to the new app version.
