Always missing points

For an app that tracks stress, it certainly causes enough stress. For months I’ve had to send screen shots of steps through to “missing points” and I’ve now just given up. Not worth the effort any more.

Terrible App

Horrendous app and program
Used to work well 3-4 years ago but now it’s awful.
You can’t hit your limits so you miss all the rewards - what’s the point?
You call the help line and they give attitude and bad advice.
You do 1 hour weights session and it doesn’t reward you for exercise (the point of the program).
Half the time the steps don’t show up properly.
Food logging doesn’t work.
Doesn’t integrate with Apple, Fitbit etc properly
Stay away from- I missed my Platinum last year as it didn’t record any of my work outs as ‘exercise).
This year looks to be doing the same thing despite being told by the help centre that it was all fixed…. Don’t bother!!

Workouts dont sync properly

Workout don’t seem properly. The app always runs into issues every 3-4 months with syncing workouts.

App slow

App is super slow to open, super slow to sync with health data and credit points.

Slow app and sync not working

I don’t know if it’s the recent app update, I noticed recently that after launching the app, it takes ages for the content to load and shortly after loading the content, a warning message often pop up to say “whoops, there’s an issue connecting, try again in a few moments” which is really confusing for me as the user. Also from about 1 month ago, my sleep data stopped syncing to the AIA app which I’m still trying to resolve with AIA. Today, I noticed that my gym visit this week started not syncing too, along with other metrics like meditation, the only activity that’s still syncing seems to be the steps. I’ve been with AIA for years and always love the benefit and how easy it is to use. The app still has 4.7 rating, mostly from long time ago, plz fix the bugs so ppl can continue to love this app and the service.

Clunky App, feels deliberately hard to get vouchers + rewards

Starting from “pin can’t start with 0”, to having no notifications about expiring vouchers or rewards, this app is clunky and I’m truly shocked at its high rating. It has been bad for years and I will soon cancel my AIA membership as it really isn’t worth it.

Review re using the app

All the info is clearly displayed and user friendly.

Love

Fabulous , I work in a Dental practice and e been telling everyone how fantastic AIA Vitality is and a lot of patients have been changing their health insurance to you

Accountability

A great way to be rewarded for making healthy life choices. Perfect for keeping you and family members accountable

Buggy

App too buggy, always have to manually log in to sync activity data. Also very sneaky way to collect personal info by having all your health practitioners sign off on checkups

Great for keeping me fit.

This app pushes me to keep fit.

Tom

Opens with empty screen, non functional

Hari Jassal

This is one of my most used app, as I track my points

Latest update killed Face ID

Previously loved this app but a recent update removed the previously usable Face ID recognition. Have to now enter pin every time despite switching Face ID on and off several times to attempt to fix it. App suffering from bloat with too many features and options

Slow, glitchy and unresponsive

This most recent redesign is terribly difficult to work with, see points earned in a timely manner and to depend on. It is so slow to update that it is bordering on unusable. Unfortunately we depend on it for a policy discount.

Health and wellbeing

Great to see AIA focus on health and wellbeing!

Terry White process

Easy and straightforward

So many bugs

Great app idea but there are so many bugs! And it fails to connect in real time to Apple Watch and heath app so you always need to log into the app to update it

Awfully Designed and Built App

Honestly one of the most poorly built iOS apps I’ve ever used. For years I’ve been waiting for the Apple Fitness sync process to work consistently and it’s still so flaky to this day. The only reason I persist is for the cash back but this requires a Commbank account, why?

Don’t even think about trying to sync with another service, my Strava link is still sitting in “pending” for over a year even though it states it will take 48 hours. It should work instantly like every other app under the sun.

If I need to contact support for these issues you’ve already failed, every other health app that needs to access fitness data does so without any issues.

The latest fun thing it’s started to do is randomly ask me for my pin when I’ve activated Face ID, I can’t recall another single app I’ve ever used that has this behaviour.

They are obviously so focused on cramming more junk into the app rather than sitting down and properly addressing the myriad of issues present in the app.

I could continue to talk about the terrible UI but I think most people will see this on first use.

Great Incentive

Had AIA health insurance for 7 years and only just activated my AIA Vitality account - wish I had done it sooner! Great app with great incentives to start your health and fitness journey or
to maintain and improve it!
