Faulty
The app has been great for years but recently I have found it won’t open the boarding pass, which renders it useless. No update available.
Not user friendly at all
Seems like app it’s seems confused can’t save any of customers details I had to enter 3 times passport details no boarding pass showing on app not allowing me to change seat even though paid seat available. This is going down hill if you guys continue operating like this I wouldn’t be surprised air nz will become sister airline of Jetstar.

Constant connection issues
For several months there has been a “connection error” notification appearing in the bottom part of the screen. This overlays the navigation buttons. The notification can be dismissed, but every action taken in the app seems to re trigger it. Despite the error warning the app seems to function fine, it’s just super annoying to use

Not happy anymore
Flights bumped and diverted north ways, new planes with 6 seats and centre isle is that narrow air hostess hit your shoulders as walking down plane.
When getting off plane at Gold Coast one hostess saying thank you at the back of plane exit and the other just on her phone ignoring everyone

It was a very very hard trip.
I'm not that big, but I couldn't even lower my table down as there wasn't any room, as the front seat row was too close to our row.
A very tough trip for two people in their mid seventies.
As a New Zealand, I've always spoken so highly of Air New Zealand, but now I'm sadly questioning that.

Passport saving broken
I have loaded and verified my passport in the AirNZ app but every time I check in for an international flight it says there is no saved passport and I have to enter my passport details manually. What’s the point of saving verifying my passport in the app if it doesn’t remember it when checking in.

Checked in for 3 flights all on same booking and only get the boarding pass for the first one? Now I have to waste time in 2 airports downloading the next 2 flights instead of just getting to my gate.

Worst App Ever
When in China the app and website automatically is in Chinese. I don’t read or write Chinese. There is no option to choose your language. I do not understand how an international airline does not give a choice of languages!!!!
