Awful
Awful all around. Flight delayed by over 5 hrs, lost connection in Madrid, NO information provided by ground crew regarding luggage, lodging, rebooking, transportation, NOTHING. No information available in the app, online or via email. Call center was impossible to reach in over 2 hours. Absolutely a disgrace of a business.

I registered, tried to log in, got a ‘something went wrong’ message, tried to log in the next day to check in, re-registered, couldn’t check in - got a ‘go to the air europa desk to check in’. Great. Definitely the fault of the glitchy app.

So User Friendly
This app was the easiest out of the European Airline Apps around. Bears out Ryanair by far!!!

As the title says, they abuse the iOS notification system to send you marketing spam.
Does not keep with standards
Hard to believe that I can’t enter multiple reservations as a guest. If I want to enter a second reservations it will replace the current reservations so multiple reservations cannot be entered and stored. Also, the boarding pass does not automatically appear on my lock screen. All other airlines apps including Iberia does these two things but Air Europa’s app falls way short.
Update - latest update still does not automatically display the boarding pass on the lock screen while all other airline boarding passes do this and have for many years now. My upcoming KLM flight boarding pass is already on the lock screen but my AE flight boarding pass which departs in 1 hour??? I have to manually go to the wallet to display the boarding pass. It’s almost 2026 and AE still won’t use conveniences to streamline the user experience.
