User reviews

Dangerous

It’s disguised as a journal app and the problem is this AI does act as a provider and is very bad at it.

Response from developer

Thank you for writing this, and I'm sorry the app felt that way. You're right that an AI shouldn't act like a therapist, and that isn't what All My Parts is meant to be. It's a journaling tool that uses IFS ideas to help you reflect, not therapy and not a replacement for a trained provider. Your review led to a full safety review of how the AI responds. It now stays in the role of a reflective journal, points people to trained IFS therapists for deeper work, and offers crisis support sooner. If you're open to it, I'd really like to hear what happened in your session: help@allmyparts.me

Use of the app

I have found the app to be very helpful. I am learning a lot about ISF and myself. The development team is very open to feedback to improve the app. I hope they will continue. One area that would be helpful is for the app to remember critical moments I have journaled.

Response from developer

Thank you so much, this means a lot. We're really glad the app is helping you learn about IFS and yourself, that's exactly what we hoped it could do. Feedback like yours is what shapes where it goes next, so please keep it coming. On remembering your critical moments: that's a feature we care about a lot and have been actively building. The app now carries forward key insights and the parts you work with across sessions, so your reflections build on each other over time rather than starting fresh. It will keep getting better. If there's a specific kind of moment you'd love it to hold onto, I'd genuinely like to hear it. Thanks again for being here early.

Has Potential- needs improvement

The actual responses of this app are pretty good. However, the description for the pro version says it remembers relevant details from past conversations. It doesn’t. It might remember a few random things, but not enough to be helpful. It also doesn’t auto save conversations so they are often lost.

Response from developer

Hi lillypopp12, Thank you for the thoughtful review, and for the kind words about the reflections. Both points are fair. On conversations getting lost: the latest update adds a Drafts tab, so any session you start but don't finish is saved and waiting for you to pick back up. That should put an end to losing entries. On memory: you're right that it isn't pulling through enough of what actually matters yet. That one's on us, and making it genuinely helpful (remembering the threads that recur, not just scattered details) is exactly what we're working on next. If you give the update a try, I'd genuinely like to know whether it feels better. You can always reach us at help@allmyparts.me. Thanks for sticking with it.
