As the title would suggest, the app works fine. It’s actually easy to navigate and take care of what you need, however, Allstate as a company needs an overhaul.
When attempting to contact your agent you are likely to reach a call center agent and not your actual agents office. After 2 years with Allstate I have watched my rates nearly double, though my driving has decreased and I have filed no claims whatsoever. I was signed up for paperless (including insurance cards) without my knowledge and repeatedly told I would receive copies of my insurance cards, even from my agents office, only to learn it’s digital only. Because of this I will be charged even higher rates if I want to remove the digital only.
Believe me, if I could find another company in my area that offers comparable coverage I could afford I would drop Allstate in the blink of an eye.

On top of everything in a timely manner
Docs points incorrectly
I believe this app docs you on things that aren’t correct. I will do everything right. Never on my phone while driving and it says I am. All because of my apple car play which is totally unnecessary. Sometimes it will say I’m driving through a parking lot when I’m not and it docs me points there. Other times is what time of day you’re driving. Driving early in the morning docs you points and so does late at night which I can’t help sometimes. Anything to make you pay more for insurance.

App not working, ask to log in through Safari instead
The app has not worked for about 2 months, every time I want to log in to the app, it says I need to log in with browser to see my claim, I have not had a claim in the last 2 years, why is it asking me to log in with browser instead of letting me use the app!!!!!’
Version 21.2 Unusable
Version 21.2 rendered the app unusable. For reference, I’m using Apple iOS 26.5.2 on an iPhone 17 Pro Max. As mentioned in another review, when I tried to log in, I was prompted to visit my claim, even though I was only trying to access the app. This issue only started after I updated the app to the latest version. I sent an email to the Allstate Mobile app team last week, but I haven’t received a response or any update on the app fixing this problem.

Drivewise trip detection
Okay so this is my impression having worked on Drivewise. Something is seriously wrong with iOS trip detection. It detected the first two trips and I get nothing after that. All the settings are correct. You all need to do better!!! I’m gonna ask for an obd device cause the driving engine trip detection on this is not working

Online policy ID cards loaded in Apple Wallet
Policy ID Cards loaded in Apple Wallet only show the name of the first listed name on the policy, rendering it useless to other named insured on the policy. Please correct the App feature

I have never been so stressed in my life. My claim has been outstanding since March 18, 2026. My attorney has been trying to call for 2 weeks now .. with no call return phones calls or emails .. what’s your motto . You’re in good hands ??? Really? I think your customer sucks there rude. Incompetent, and never a return phone…

New version is not good
I don’t like the new updates. You can’t track your drive trips the same anymore. It doesn’t let you know if you were penalized for anything. Sometimes I fail to indicate I’m not driving or I’m not the person using the phone. I being able to track issues after the fact helps me make sure the record is correct. You need to change it back. This new version is not accurate according of the driving.

Please restore an at-a-glance indicator for trips with phone use or other events. Since Drivewise sometimes mistakes passengers for drivers, reviewing flagged trips is an important part of keeping records accurate.

ALLSTATE CUSTOMER REAR ENDED ME AND THESE PEOPLE DONT UNDERSTAND HOW EVERY DAMAGE IS CAUSED. I HAD TO PAY FOR PARTIAL DAMAGE OF MY NEW CAR. ONE IDIOT CALLED ME AND SAID HE IS AN EXPERT WITH 20 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, YET HE DONT KNOW HOW A UNIBODY CAR WORKS. DONT TRY TO CORRECT THEM THEY WONT ACCEPT. WHY WOULD ANYONE HIRE SUCH DUMB PEOPLE, I LOST MONEY FOR SOMEONE ELSES FAULT. IF YOU ARE REAR ENDED MAKE SURE U RECORD EVERY EVIDENCE BUT STILL THEY DENY YOUR CLAIM.

Can not pay my bill via my account.
unable to log in
for some reason customer service said, that i have some kind of a different type of Allstate insurance and i have to log in to my account through a special link, because your app doesn’t support customers with another type of insurance. that’s weird and super uncomfortable to use.

I paid for renewal a month ago - why is it not showing on the app? I have to have proof of insurance. This is the second time I’m going to have to call and get all this figured out. If someone pays for insurance then IMMEDIATELY show on the app that the insurance has been updated. Honestly, this is probably the most basic task on this app. How in the world can you F it up?
