App used to work. Currently will not open insurance card or policy documents or the claims tab. Gets locked at Loading.
App No Longer Works
This app is broken. Insurance cards and Policy Details are not accessible. The app freezes and says Loading until it is force-closed.
App sucks
Every time I get on to use it won’t let me see any of my information. I try to see my insurance cards and all it does is say loading.
Great Features…if they would work!
The features on this app are great, but unfortunately, they will never load. The system often will time out or crash and kick me out and when you need insurance information your app needs to be reliable.
Fix it!
I have been dealing with this horrible app for years. I just can’t believe that a major company such as AmFam can’t get senior engineers competent enough to get this app to work. The app says no bills are due, but then we get a cancellation notice. I try to look up the bill and nothing comes up. I’m constantly stuck in a spinning screen.

Horrible Glitchy App
The company is fine but the app is horribly glitchy. It takes forever to load and trying to perform simple tasks takes a long time. I tried to update my payment information once and the entire app crashed. The screen was just black for hours when I opened the app. Even the agents have a hard time updating my account with the website/app. I don’t know this app has a 4.7 star rating.

Absolute junk
Been waiting for this app for years coming from Costco connect. Literally can’t even log in anymore and it didn’t do anything when it was released. It won’t send me text or email codes to log in. Garbage
Non functional
Every time I try to open this app as of June 24, 2026 it just goes to a black screen. The app is also particularly bad when it comes to trying to view statements or do really anything else.
Black screen after loading
I’m encountering a solid black screen after loading the app. Uninstalling and reinstalling causes the app to open once and then all subsequent sessions are black. Using iPhone 16 Pro on latest iOS.

Black screen 90% of the time. When I am allowed to log in, requests (e.g., insurance card) just process forever. Unusable.

I would give it a no stars but it does work once it awhile.
After update - black screen, app not loading
This app worked just fine for me until the latest update and now all it does is show me a black screen and won’t load. I even deleted it and re-added it. Still nothing.

Super frustrating app
I don’t know where they got all of these great reviews, obviously people are really using the app as intended. I’ve tried to use it multiple times to get insurance cards saved on my phone.. It never works. I always have to go to the website and then email myself the cards.. I have multiple vehicle vehicles (5+) under AmFam ever would like the ability to use the app, instead of requesting the information and it’s freezing, or giving me the circle of death. I’ve tried everything from updating it to deleting it and nothing helps

This App is Horrible!
One of the worst apps I have ever used. Not user friendly at all! It’s not possible to see detailed bills for payments due - only an amount due. Prior payments must be searched in 3 month increments, yet payments fall in incorrect history ranges. Nothing is easy to find. It’s almost worth changing insurers to get better online support.

This company is ridiculously low tech, premiums cheap but the tech is from 1900
