My husband and I have a JOINT account. We both use the same app with the same login. But for some reason, it regularly makes me verify my identity by sending a code to HIS phone or email before I can log in. It never does this to him. I’m so frustrated, I’m ready to move our account somewhere else.
App is just okay.
App is okay. I can not get bill pay setup to work. It says enrollment failed. Customer care can’t seem to figure out what’s wrong or IT can not help. App needs to be refreshed and update to be better. Very basic app.
Poor quality UX and UI features
I’ve had several banking apps and this app is on the low end. I didn’t know this was the correct app for Amplify credit union until the associate pointed it out. The colors of the app itself is extremely different from their branding and I thought it was a scam one tbh. There are things in website that I liked and I wish they incorporated to the app, like the spending wheel- to show what expenses are taking up the majority of the account. There is another feature I want them to have is make buckets so I don’t need to make another checking account or savings to see where money is going to like vacations, bills, loans, etc. Also, I noticed in the savings portion for APY it says $0.0000, is that true? Then what’s the point in opening a savings account. Yeah, the UI and UX design needs some serious work. I need to ask the live chat where I would make my transactions, where I can make profile changes, and etc.

Disappointed
I’ve always shied away from mobile banking but have recently found myself in a situation where it’s more convenient.
This app is really glitchy a d Inhate that I have already had to remove it and reinstall it three times in the month that I’ve used it. I just need it to work when I want to use it.

When will connection issues be fixed for the connection between the app and iPhone 11?
Multiple mobile check deposits fail
Tried to deposit 9 checks today. Clicked on “deposit check” for all of them. Threw me out of the app twice. When I logged in my state seemed to be preserved. But only 6 of the checks show up. The checks are membership dues for either 18 or 24 dollars so I can’t tell which ones made it in. Their web interface doesn't show images.

Check Deposit does not work
Been a member for half a year and just this week downloaded the mobile app specifically to deposit checks remotely during these times when we’re encouraged to stay at home. When I open the Mobile App and select Deposit Check, I get an error that says I must use the Mobile App to deposit a check. I gave this app only 1 star for two reasons: 1) because of this flaw and 2) because that error message messes with my head.

Money Transfer between Accounts Broken
Especially now, during COVID-19, having a functioning mobile app is critical to managing customers money. App is Unable to transfer money between accounts. Screen to enter the amount does not work, won’t recognize certain numbers at all or enters the wrong number when selected. Decimal point won’t enter at all. On the current version, have deleted and reloaded without change. This will cause me to move my money elsewhere after being a loyal customer for over 30 years!! Fix this please!

The check deposit feature is stuck on loading
Checked we have latest version 9.0.550.
The android Phone we have worked with latest version
Both phones have issue also on check amount. The phones only work in horizontal position.
The submit key is not shown. Ugh pls fix.

Still doesn’t work?
After all these years, why is this app still not working properly? There was a brief time when it worked, but now it’s back to being useless! It just spins and spins and never loads the pictures. What’s the point of mobile check deposit if I have to take time to go to a physical location to deposit the checks that fail to deposit via the app? Why can’t they fix this?

Mobile Check Deposit Not Working
Used to work months back but not for the past several months. Completely boots me out of the app after taking check pics. Tried removing and reloading app with same results. Not sure when this is getting fixed or if the problem is even on the radar. Sad.
Mobile deposit pitiful
Every time I attempt to make a mobile deposit, the application closes and the deposit is lost. I know I am not the only person to have this issue. The fact that no updates to the application have occurred in 9 months says a lot about the quality of your support. There are plenty of credit unions in Austin that do this better. Probably time to move.

Maybe a few changes could be helpful?
Hello, I was just logged into my online account when it dawned on me that Amplify might be willing to implement a few improvements on the company app for the users ability to manage their accounts. Maybe this isn’t the place to send this type of thing but if it’s not then would you please be sure to pass it along to the person(s) making decisions and changes.
Now, regarding the requested changes. If the following type of user controls are implemented then it would make not only using your app more amazing but would also help promote your (Amplify’s) image of wanting to make banking easier but it would also promote for better money management.
1. Add a way to highlight specific account transactions so they could be categorized or Named
2. Give the user the ability to set reminders on specific Named or categorized account transactions to allow for notifications of a monthly bill coming out. Default begin date to current day and default end date to 3+ yrs, but allow for this date to be changed.
3. Allow the user to sort by name , category or type example: “Name” : this would be the default name that Amplify uses to identify transactions. “Category”: This would be “Groceries , Maintenance, Car/Loan payment, Credit card payment, Entertainment” etc. and finally for Type: This would be so the user could set this for reminders like “Monthly Bill, Need to pay, Waiting for refund “etc.

Broken mobile check deposit
App crashes every time I try to deposit a check via picture.

Just like this bank this app is behind the curve. Struggles to keep up with its competitors. Basically below average.
