No support response

Calendar design is pretty bad and the payment option never works. Plaid confirms then nothing. Emailed support and no response after weeks. None. Edit: dev response was “people use our app so you’re wrong and people responded to you but I have no proof of this” That tells you all you need to know. Complete dismissal of feedback is why your app is trash. They also claim the app is court ordered IN EVER COUNTY in the United States which is laughably false.

A clunky broken mess not worth the price.

The app mostly works for exchanging text messages. But it constantly has issues. Currently it is impossible to see or download PDFs so for example we can’t exchange school records. Scrolling to previous messages has a tendency to return back to break the interface and return to the latest messages. Not worth the subscription.

Trash

I was ordered by the court to use this app. They said it was the best one they have on the App Store. It’s quite obvious that this judge doesn’t know a thing because this app is absolutely garbage. He also told me that this app is free with no app purchases or subscriptions. He was obviously wrong on that too.

Here is a suggestion for your app, if you are going to make a product that the judicial system recommends you should probably make that product 100% free. Another suggestion is adding some type of voicemail when you try to call the coparent and they do not answer.

Garbage App

Garbage app doesn’t work most of the time. I have emailed the support team multiple times, but they don’t resolve anything they just send useless automated responses asking if I have an active subscription. Save your money and don't download this.

It’s decent

In general I feel like the app is rather clunky. It’s kind of hard to navigate and you are stuck in very specific boxes with whatever option you choose. Therefore if you choose wrong you have to go back and choose again, etc. I am able to import my calendars into the app but I wanted to make it visible for my ex because two of the calendars are for the kids’ appointments. He swears up and down he can’t see it, so unless he’s lying or there’s something wrong on his side, I just have to do double the work.

Investment firm switch from free to very very expensive

The only reason they were number one in court recommended solutions was the price was free for years.

Then they rolled out subscription pricing that is the most expensive of all out there. Not only do the two parents pay, which is expected, but every single guest or third party must pay. The same price. So grandparents, aunt and uncles and any other care giver that needs to be in the communication loop. Same single child account but monthly payments from everyone involved. Even if they use it sparingly.

We dumped it and moved on.

A disgraceful app which loses the recoding and then ignores you when you try to complain

This app is a waste of time, I paid for recordings which they lost, I complained and they said nothing they can do I asked to escalate this and no response I asked again and no response… that is the whole purpose of the app yet no technical team or customer service: I then logged a data breach and… nothing,no contact from anyone, this app is not fit for purpose do not waste your money as there is no back office , AppClose you should be ashamed.

This app is horrible. They’re not even trying to update it.

I gave a fair review about this app almost 6 months ago. I am back to change it cause nothing has changed. I am not getting any notifications when I get a message. How the hell is this supposed to be a coparenting app when you don’t get no notifications when I get a message from my ex, she has messaged me through another app. If not normal text messaging to let me know what she did this app is horrible. I will change my review if they update it, but I’ve seen this company. Doesn’t want to change anything.

Missing Records & Poor Customer Service

Until recently, I have had no problems & would have recommended the app. However, now a number of the recorded calls from the app are not available for download & quite a few others have said they will be sent for weeks now. In the past the downloads have been emailed to me in minutes. I have sent multiple emails to their customer support and haven’t heard anything back almost a month later. I need these records for court. I’m extremely frustrated and regretting not using the app recommended by the court.

Stop logging me out

I’m sick of it. Fix the glitches. Jesus Christ. My co-parent and I are used to your app. Now that we pay for it, Fix it. Pretty sure i already submitted a tech request

No longer works for coparent

I guess it is no longer android friendly with the new update? It’s no longer working for the coparent and the customer service is getting him nowhere on fixing it. So we’ve been paying for nothing because he can’t even see my messages. It tells him to subscribe again and when he tries to subscribe again it says he’s already subscribed. Please do better on the customer service side of things and help fix the problem or at least reimburse us for our wasted subscription.

Needs updating

Too often, this app does not let you know messages are waiting.
The app needs to be useable for the chat feature on smart watches. It would be so much handier and better.
Also the chat feature can load slow and make images hard to view.

Inconsistent notifications

I don’t get consistent notifications for messages - often I only see a message has been sent if I open the app and go into messages, and only then does it pull the new message through. This is obviously concerning given it is my only method of communication with my children’s father when he has them. I’ve contacted support repeatedly and am told to update my phone or the app but nothing changes.

Not receiving notifications

My app won’t send me notifications if the other guardian is texting me and when it does, it doesn’t show the text message. It only pops up I tried sending email several times got no response

Doesnt work, no customer support

I paid for the app and it doesn’t let either parent authorize calls/video let alone authorize recorded calls video. Emailed customer support and haven’t had any response.

10/10 it’s a No for me.

This app is absurd. When you have it set to record calls they are seemingly impossible to access unless you’re in a “circle” which the other party can deny. Also, if not in a circle you can’t see billing info! How the 2 are related is anyone’s guess. They happily take my money each month and it takes weeks to sort out a problem, including resending emails multiple times to try & get support but that’s rather non existent. Really awful to be locked into this by the court and there’s so many issues. DO BETTER you have income now.

Poor Customer Support

Horrible app, and even worse customer support.

I’ve been having a bug issue for over a month, related to notifications. I contacted AppClose directly for customer support. After providing them with all relevant info that they asked for, the issue has still not been resolved. I followed up with them, and all I received is a canned, generic response. No resolution or update to my issue, even though they promise to “fix any issues right away”, as explained in the App Store. I don’t understand the delay or the lack of customer support.

Here is the canned, generic response I received: “We sincerely apologize for the delay in providing a solution. We understand the inconvenience this has caused and are actively working to resolve the issue.” Translation: We don’t care about the issues you’re experiencing, and are unable to provide a resolution. We do not value you as a customer.

Looking at other customer reviews, there seems to be a common theme. Too many bugs, not enough support.

My advice, if you are a parent looking for a co-parenting app, especially if it’s going to be court-ordered, look elsewhere. Recommend a different app to be used with the court, citing that AppClose has too many bugs and does not provide adequate customer support. Buyers beware!

It seems this company bit off more than it can chew.
