This is the most convenient way to connect with your doctors and I mean doctors not just one you messaged them and they message you back
Limited and creates serious right of access issues
It’s unfortunate for the patient when providers are given ability to disable an enable certain features that otherwise should be available and front facing at all times to patients and their health.
It blows my mind.
Bc of this app and its limited viewing ability Using Athenapatients app has been a nightmare. Think about if a provider that may have questionable intentions and abuses the apps features and capabilities…..This not only raises concerns it raises violations of rights but dependent on the order of information displayed can create a lot of uneasiness, panic and worry that is unnecessary and not simply, it’s damn wrong.

Thorough
Comprehensive appointment. Felt I was listened to. Very easy to talk to and explain what is happening with my body.
Easy to use
Easy to use app, set up appts etc.. It’s also quite easy to use for zoom calls. The app is great until it won’t let u log in once in a while and Face ID doesn’t work and you forget your password. That’s annoying. Other than that it’s great.

Easy to Navigate
I didn’t even know there was an app until about 30 minutes ago! Using the desktop version on a mobile phone is cumbersome! This makes managing our family a lot easier!
Absolutely Horrible!
This app is no where NEAR as good as the “Follow My Health” app that was being used before!
It doesn’t explain what any of the results mean and doesn’t have notes about what your doctor says about your health.
It’s the worst app EVER and really meeds some work if it’s going to take place of the “Follow My Health”.
I know FMH wasn’t perfect either, but it was leagues ahead of “Athena”!
It’s like they just threw a bunch of stuff in here and said “this is good enough”
I usually don’t leave reviews, but this is really lazy work and it shows… Fix it!

I went into the “leave feedback” as you told me, but I kept getting kicked off and having to restart it like 5 times because just out of nowhere a calendar would pop up telling me to make an appointment!
I think you need to make “athena” app your primary health result app instead of opening up athena and then it takes you to a website that doesn’t even explain what the results are… We’re not doctors and a lot of us don’t work in the medical field, so results should be written out so that we can understand what tests were done and what the results where without having to get a PhD!
Did no one even look at the layout and the structure of the “Follow My Health” app!? If there were something I didn’t understand it had a link next to the results telling me what the tests were and why they did that test. Not on ME, just why they did the tests in general on anyone!
Get rid of the website or if that’s what you’re calling the “patient portal” because why have the app if all it does is take you to the patient portal!?
I would also like to edit my health as it changes… I can’t even put my surgeries on there even though it asks me if I’ve had any surgeries that I need to put on there and when I select “yes” nothing happens.
So, I’ve decided to uninstall the app until you guys fix it or figure put if we’re using the app or the website because I’m not using both. It makes no sense!
I do hope you fix the app because I love the “Follow My Health” app and I will check back from time to time to hopefully see some changes that was made my intelligent human beings and no lazy A.I. that doesn’t work!

Bug: doesn’t change Unread status
The app doesn’t recognize viewing test results and shows the test results as unread.

No online pharmacies to choose. No ability to enter current medications as a new patient.
Athena health access
Very easy to use. Can see all appointments and always it ads them to calendar they give specific instructions on what is required at visit. Very educational. Thanks for this. My only complaint is not being able to change or notify of address change and meds

Life at a touch of a hand.
Imagine going to a Doctor out of state. Do you think you could remember the name of the ointment you applied to your big toe last month? How about when you had a bad headache and took something random that caused you to feel off. You had that headache and couldn’t remember your name.
Well! This allows you to go back years to see what happened when you fell off the tractor for a photo shoot and the belt was stuck on the tire while not realizing the backside had stripes of poison ivy. No this didn’t happen but I could tell you exactly how it happened because I have Athena.
I’m able to correspond with my medical team while in another country. I can request a prescription in another state. I can go to the ER and not worry that they know all 7 of my allergies. This is that thick folder that the same dr you saw as a kid pulled out. Written and many messages and not totally up to date. This is something you can read at home. This is something that can assist in you describing exactly what is going on with your loved ones. It helps, it teaches and it alerts you of your schedule. One doctor talks to the other and are notified. That makes you healthier. Get it!
