Minimal payment app
Can't track usage or anything but how much to pay and when to pay it. Still showing an old address as my entry point despite the account being closed months ago. They're a monopoly and have no incentive to do any better.

Basically just shows you how much you owe. No indication of energy usage patterns or anything that would help you lower your bill.
App issues
The app will not open when I am hooked to my WiFi at home I have to disconnect to use the app as soon as I shut WiFi off the app works just fine.
Waste of Space
App never works, always having issue making a payment, viewing my bill, along with numerous log-in fails (unable to process request - try again later 🙄). 2025 and we cant even make a payment seamless. Customer Service always seems oblivious to the issue and loves making excuses rather than making a support ticket to ensure the problem gets addressed.

iPhone will not remember your password
It’s almost the end of 2025. Get it together Avista. You make enough money to catch up to 2008.
Really basic
It does a few things well but would be nice to get more functionality that you can get on the full website
Good simple app, but missing…
Sometimes when going over screenshots I have to correlate bank statements to verify Avista was paid. It would be nice if logo was on payment confirmation number screen so I know the receipt is from Avista not some “mystery” account I paid ;) Otherwise it’s a good app.

This app never lets me login on some days where I have to wait until the next day to be able to pay my payments. Kind of ridiculous if you think of a single mom needing to pay a bill before it goes late then she couldn’t cause the app just gives her an error attempting to sign in. Horrible reliability and possibly a tactic to increase late payments

Worst customer service
I have called inquiring why my bill is outrageously large. They keep blaming me. I am sharing that I don’t even live in the house. So for it to be so expensive makes absolutely no sense. They went through and shared that I used electricity. My point is the electricity disproportionate to the usage. To work from home and not use heat, the bill should not be $500 dollars.
It’s too expensive and not what the estimated costs they provided before buying the home. Their high month stated $130… it is no where close. I have asked for assistance to help figure out what is pulling so much electricity? They will not help. So I have no choice but to sell the home. And rent. Why waist $$$ on electricity when it could go to rent. And the money I spend on mortgage could go to investments.
