Mr. Hill

In pain management I am currently prescribed hydrocodone for pain relief. I receive my medication from the V.A., but for some inexplicable reason the prescription was sent to Walgreens’s pharmacy on 24th ave. after I explicitly reminded the nurse I received my medication from the V.A. Since this office has always sent my prescriptions to the V.A. I was unaware they had sent it to Walgreens. Today, 7/15/26, after speaking to NP Moffett nurse, who assured me she had called Walgreens’s pharmacy and my prescription was waiting, I go to Walgreens and find I do not have a prescription.

I am out of my prescription and suffer excruciating pain in my lower back. I had intended to ask for an increase in the monthly prescription. I hope Baptist Anderson can see how this is affecting me. Nurse Moffett’s nurse, instead of lying to me good have taken less than five minutes and call the prescription in. Not only would my trip to the pharmacy have benefited me, but it would have eliminated any reason for this review.

I hope someone reminds the staff how dependent patients are on their professionalism.

Heart Cath

Recently had a heart cath and stent placements and the complete staff at the Hospital and Doctor were outstanding.

This has to be the best medical facility anywhere

The best people anywhere. I can’t say enough about how much of a blessing the people of Baptist Hospital are to me.

Good app a small addition to be a 5 star

App does just about everything you would need. One small thing that is needed is a way to change the pharmacy you have on record. I changed pharmacies but no way to make the change in the app. So now I need to contact each and every doctor I see.

user friendly

very easy to use, no issues

Velma Davenport surgery

Dr. Berry was proactive and prompt in seeing my mom’s serious health condition and did not hesitate to correct her medical concern. The critical care unit and staff was superb when monitoring my mother after her surgery focusing on the fact she is 91. The staff was attentive, kind, supportive and proactive with my mother’s care and recovery.

Richland primary care/ Dr Scott Davis

I was seen by Dr Scott Davis on May 14, I was very satisfied with my visit because my doctor listen to me and go over any concerns I have about my health. He also explain in great detail about my results of test and ask me about other doctor I have seen and what medicines they have prescribed and let me know if it in my best interest to continue taking a certain medication. These are the thing that make my visit awesome because it all about preventives medicine and MY HEALTH AND MY BODY, the plus is that he has great bed side manner and the staff is awesome to me. Thank you Doctor Scott Davis for all you do at Baptist Medical Clinic on Richland, Ms..

Hospital stay

Huntington Baptist hospital is one of the best hospitals I have ever had to stay in, the nurses, doctors, and staff treat you with kindness and when you call on them you don’t get an attitude like you just ruined their day, each one of them help you in a way that just seems like your family, they even go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable thank you Baptist hospital Huntington!

“Reactive Care Without Preventive Plan for High-Risk Patient”

I’m leaving this review as a patient with a complex medical condition requiring ongoing urology and infectious disease management.

While the providers acknowledged that bacterial colonization is expected with a nephrostomy tube, there was no clear or proactive plan presented to prevent infection progression or reduce the risk of sepsis. The approach felt reactive rather than preventive.

I also had concerns about the efficiency and value of care delivery. I traveled to the NEA office for a brief visit that did not include any diagnostic testing (no urinalysis, culture, or imaging). The information provided could have been communicated via phone or patient portal, which raises questions about appropriate use of in-person visits.

As a high-risk patient, I expected a more structured care plan that includes:
- Clear criteria for when testing should be performed
- Preventive strategies, not just acknowledgment of colonization
- Coordinated care between specialties
- Practical patient education on managing a nephrostomy tube at home

I am advocating for care that is proactive, evidence-based, and aligned with patient safety—not just standard explanations without action.

I hope this feedback encourages improvements in communication, care coordination, and preventive planning for patients managing complex conditions.

Baptist Memorial Healthcare

In the past few years, I have depended on the wonderful care I’ve received from the Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, and staff at Baptist more than I ever thought I would. I can’t say enough how thankful I am to them all!

Colonoscopy Great Experience

I know what you’re thinking this is a crazy thing to say.The prep is always horrible but everything else after was great from every person I met.The anesthesiologists was so nice and friendly. The nurses were great Coreena,Ashley and Yesenia. The tech was also great Nakia keep that great smile and attitude. When they took me back into the procedure room we all laughed and laughed because I forgot to take my purple panties on… cause I swore I did lol.Dr Calvit is always the best and he makes you feel right at home.Even he was so funny cause I ask him will he was in there can you stretch my esophagus and he look at me with a smile and said wrong end and I just busted out laughing.Even though it was a colonoscopy it was really a great experience.

Horrible nurse

Barb the nurse I had for the weekend tried to give me my daytime meds again. She then tried to give me someone else’s meds. She brought my migraine meds in a plastic bag and I said I don’t have a migraine so I don’t need them and she put them in the drawer in my room. She took my iv out in the middle of the night and I needed it the next morning. Anytime I asked for something she said be right back and didn’t come back until the next e. She kept forgetting things

Frustrating app

I like the app when I can get into it. Half the time I can’t. It won’t accept
my password, I change it and it still won’t accept it. It says it is going to send me a code, but never does.
Very frustrating!

Avoiding calls?

It is an obstacle course trying to find a health care provider or nurse. After finally reaching someone, she promised to call me if there was an issue with my refill request. No call and no prescription. I have shingles and I’m miserable with pain. 68 years old. I need help, not broken promises.
