Helped change my stray rescue’s life

After saving our emaciated stray a few months ago after over a week on the streets (probably longer) she didn’t know what a toy was or would look at us like she didn’t deserve such a luxury. Wouldn’t even play with a tennis ball. Well now she is extra spoiled (doesn’t deserve less than being spoiled) not only was one of the first toys in our first box let alone her favorite it is almost like an emotional support toy. She brings it in her cage at night and makes sure to get it only after saying good morning to us) thank you bark for all the amazing toys she now practically destroys in minutes (max 20 with super chew) cause it only helped this special girl have a fresh start of spoiled life after what she should’ve never had to go through. Thank you for changing her life experience where she probably never expected when her only option was dirt for food. It definitely means the world to us and her 🥰

Amazing Customer Service

I started fostering a dog and decided to go with BARK box because they had a good deal. Once I received the box, I learned more about my foster dog and I realized she didn’t like squeaky toys or balls. I reached out to customer service and we had a great conversation! They were so nice and put a note to only give her nylon toys and sent her a free gift to replace the other toys she received that she didn’t like. Turns out… Nyla loves the nylon toys!

Toys fall apart

Very disappointed super chewer xtra toys . The tomato and others fell apart … not glued well! Not happy and will not renew

Makes Life Easier

We love the day the BarkBox arrives each month. Our medium dog (40lbs) can chew as hard as our big dog (95 lbs) so having sturdy toys delivered every month makes my life easier while also making my makes dogs so happy. Add in treats and an extra toy every month and it’s an all around hit. The themes are so funny. 5 tail wags. Would Recommend.

Best part of the month

My dog Atticus is obsessed with his barkbox subscription and I couldn’t be happier with the ease of managing it through the app. I can’t recommend barkbox enough for dog owners—especially if you have a chewer like I do and tend to go through toys pretty quickly! His box comes with super durable toys and now that we’ve had our subscription for a while I’m actually prepping to donate a bunch instead of constantly needing to replace toys as they get destroyed!!

Refuse to let me cancel

The first box we got had toys so small my dog would choke on them if I let him play with them then the next one didn’t even come in a box didn’t have the fun activities and the toys were really bad quality the seams were ripped before I even let my dog see the toy. I canceled my subscription and now they’ve tried to charge me twice and aren’t responding to any emails I’ve sent asking them to either explain how to properly cancel or cancel it for me so they’ll stop charging me. The quality of toy is not at all worth the $40 and there aren’t enough treats to make up for it I’d rather just go to a thrift store and grab some random stuffed animals for my dog at that point at least I’d know he wasn’t going to choke on them.

The best!!

Bark box is simply the best. I’ve even using them for years and they have always treated us amazingly. If there is ever an issue they are always immediately on top of it and take care of it immediately. I will always recommend bark box 100% of the time!

Wonderful

Daisy loves sharing her toys and treats with her brother and sister.

App dysfunction

Downloaded app and just keeps saying ruh roh something went wrong try again and if problem persist contact us… I deleted app redownloaded and same thing.

Abysmal customer service + App doesn’t even work.

Did not inform me or receive my consent for an auto Renewal of my subscription. Then did not provide me the option online to cancel said subscription. THEN was unable to email me a certification, confirmation, or reference number confirming subscription was cancelled after I had to speak with customer service. Not only this but I had to do all of this online because the app won’t even load.

DON’T waste your money or your time on this. This used to be a good company but has completely gone down hill over the years and have even downgraded to plastic bags instead of boxes to save themselves money. Absolutely ridiculous clowns of a company.

My dog does not like their toys.

My Corgi Fergie will not play with any of their toys and won’t let me cancel my subscription. I would give zero stars if I could.

Will not allow you to cancel.

Be careful…

BUYER BEWARE

Bark box has continuously decreased in quality. I have been getting boxes for multiple years now and over the last year I have been getting multiple repeat toys. I have also stopped getting a chew bone in my boxes. They also changed the packaging with no notice and when I asked to cancel and get a refund due to all these changes I was told that it was impossible. Customer service was very difficult to talk through and kept not answering my refund question. It took 6 emails to be told they will not refund me! Very disappointing considering all the years I’ve stuck with them

New Packaging

I wasn’t sure where else to leave a review, but I just wanted to make a comment regarding the bags. We’ve subscribed to BarkBox on and off for years. This last subscription we did I ended early when I received our latest one. I have looked forward to every single BarkBox because my dog absolutely loved opening them herself. She knows the difference between it and a regular package, I just loved having that little moment with her. It’s not the same with a plastic bag. The themes you guys make are the cutest things ever, opening that box and lifting the card up to see what that month would bring was one of the most exciting parts for me. With the new bags, there isn’t even a card to tell you your theme or give you a little preview of the other toys that month. The toys and treats are just thrown in there and it just doesn’t feel as special anymore. The neat packaging and presentation of the box is what made you guys stand out, it’s those little things. I am completely understanding of the reasoning behind the bag, but it still makes me so sad.

Great Concept, Underwhelming Execution

I have 2 adult pups and recently got a puppy who is a toy fein and an aggressive chewer. I had tried Bark Box out previously and imo I wasn’t super thrilled but kept seeing ads for them everywhere and thought their super chewer box may be more suitable for my puppy. They advertise all these super cute and unique toys that offer enrichment, and while I’ve found the monthly themes are generally unique, the toys (at least for the super chewer box) are all the same hard material. And while I understand as super chewers I’m sure the type of toys are limited I would appreciate more toys that have dual purposes, toys that can be stuffed with treats and used as enrichment. I paid for the 6 month box and we get two hard chew toys a month and it just gets the point where we don’t need anymore, he can’t possibly use them all. I have 3 more months to go and unfortunately can’t cancel. Secondly, I was under the impression that for holidays we would receive themed toys and treats that were themed around that specific holiday, or even season (winter, Halloween, etc). I was super bummed to find out that seasonal toys had to be purchased in addition to your monthly subscription. It just didn’t seem realistic to purchase additional super chewer toys in cute holiday themes that we already have an abundance of. Additionally, we’ve found the treat variety to be the same rotating 4-5 treat flavors, again a bummer when I feel like for the seasons there is so much potential. That’s how I feel about bark box as a whole, the concept is great and there’s potential but after my subscription is up I don’t see us renewing. I’d rather just buy the toys and treats myself :(

Barkbox App Update

Cannot get into account or subscription management…it just keeps spinning since this update. My dog loves his monthly box, however I’d like to not always be told to go to the Website to gain access while seeking help from Support when dealing with this App! Fix your App ASAP!

Disappointed in BarkBox’s Anti-Pride Stance

As a loyal customer, I’m extremely disappointed by BarkBox’s decision to halt Pride marketing, calling it “politically charged” and even comparing it to MAGA-themed products. Pride isn’t politics—it’s about visibility, acceptance, and support for the LGBTQ+ community.

The internal memo and half-hearted apology show that BarkBox cares more about backlash than standing by the people they claim to support. This performative allyship isn’t good enough.

Until they show real commitment to inclusion, I’ll be spending my money elsewhere.
