User reviews

Great program when it doesn’t crash

This app has once again crashed and I have once again lost all of my program and training data. So disappointing. Do better.

Waste of money

Paid for 1 month, completed questionnaire and app crashed before program was even generated. Closed app and reopened but wouldn't open up fully, just loading with the logo appearing. Uninstalled app and reinstalled but the same issue arises. Will be contacting to try and get a refund.

Great idea but lots of ongoing issues

If the app didn’t have all the ongoing issues it would be great. Getting sick of how long it takes for the program to load. Has been trying to load for the last 5 minutes

Scam!!

App doesn’t have an option to cancel subscription, also their is no option through the app store to cancel your subscription. It will just forcefully charge your card. Disgusting

Overall great

I downloaded this app because I've been following the Base Body ladies for quite a while and really wanted to try their programs. I'm not new to the gym but I'm 6 months postpartum so it seemed like a good time to try something new.

Overall I really like the program itself - it specifies sets and reps, times your rest periods, and offers alternatives if something doesn't feel right or if you don't have the right equipment. I have a home gym with a decent amount of equipment so I am doing their gym program but subbing out anything that uses a machine. They do offer home gym programs too.

The app itself has some bugs to be worked out, but that's expected with most new apps. If you flip to another app during the rest timer, the timer doesn't keep running in the background. An audible bell at the end of the rest period would help, so you don't have to keep checking your phone. The app also crashed on me once when I went to open the program notes. It's also a little bit awkward to flip between sets if you also want to watch the videos or read the notes. I haven't tried the recipes or any of the other features besides the training program itself but overall it's great for what I was after, which is a great strength training program backed up by people that know what they're talking about, and one that will help me get back to feeling like one strong healthy mama.
