Muy rápida y efectiva la aplicación. Creo que tiene muy buen funcionamiento y entrelaza muy bien todos los sistemas interrelacionados con la información del solicitante. Fue interesante y educativa utilizarla. En atención al cliente, excelente. La señora Lupe, muy transparente y en la mayor disposición de darme una respuesta efectiva y rápida cumpliendo con todos los requisitos. Muy amable, orientándome siempre en cada paso a dar y buscando las mejores opciones para mi.

Don’t give up your social security number
It is not clear during the on boarding process that after collecting your Social Security number and other personal identifying information you may not qualify for their service. There is nowhere that I saw in the documentation upfront that said that if you did not pay your rent directly through a bank account you would not be able to use the app.

Very easy to use, I just found this through Instagram and I’m at my breaking point with having a roommate. I’m currently in the verifying process but will return with and update if I get approved for my own apartment.
La peor experiencia! Es lo peor!
Una vez que pagas no te hacen el reporte a menos que mes a mes se los recuerde y si reclamas te amenazan con quitarte el reporte por el cuál pagaste, por ejemplo el 10 de junio tuve que recordarles el reporte de mayo. Y asi todos los meses debes recordarles, y sino reclamas seguro solo te robaran.

Great company+support
I have only one complaint at it’s that when I put in my submission it sat for a week pending with no updates or anything. I messaged the live chat (extremely fast response) and was told that I needed to manually upload the payment proof. I just wish I could’ve been told this and got it done way earlier. So It’s really hard to find time to get ahold of places during normal 9-5 hours. Like I said I tried the live chat and connected with Marco. He was extremely patient and allowed me to send him the proof and he didn’t rush at alI. While at work it took probably over an hour or two to get it all ready and sent. He reassured me from the start he’d still be there and once I was done he sent it instantly. Patience goes a long way and earns loyal customers. I’m happy to be improving my credit here.

Initially, I needed to send a few messages in the chat and the support team to submit a few other background documents via email.
After that, I was able to get about three years of rental payments reported as a credit line.
I recommend this app and if you don’t see the reporting linked right away, definitely email the support team!

Won’t sync to my proper account, and customer service doesn’t exist
When I link Boom to my bank through Plaid, Boom can only “see” one of my bank accounts with that bank… and it’s not the one I pay rent through.
I have checked from the Plaid portal and it sees all my accounts, so the problem is definitely on Boom’s end.
Meanwhile I can’t contact Boom customer service. The mobile app is a janky piece of craappolllla, and there’s no web browser access.
Forget this company, deleted the app already. This was a waste of an hour of my time.

Doesn’t generate monthly statements
App works great, and they provide every service they offer. Only issue is with going through underwriting to acquire a mortgage. The underwriting team for my lenders needs supporting documents from this account since it’s reported to my credit report. Unfortunately, Boom Pay doesn’t generate monthly accounts statements via pdf, or any official documents, so it’s hindering my home buying process.

Do not fall for this scam app. Their app is filled with issues to correctly and legally complete it. I had several issues that I had to contact their help desk for just to set up the account. Some of their advice to complete it was invasive to privacy and illegal. When I chose to finally delete my account (the next day after signing up) their process to get refund was unable to be completed due to more problems with how their app was set up. I wouldn’t let a company that can’t even set their app up correctly, have access to so much of my personal data and bank account info. Skip it, it’s not worth it
