Four weeks after completing our final training, I’m extremely disappointed.
The biggest issue is that you can’t make even basic adjustments to your own system. Every change requires a dealer visit, and getting an appointment takes one to two weeks. That’s unacceptable when you’re relying on this system to keep your dogs safe.
Our dogs have escaped three separate times in different areas of the yard. Even worse, when they do get out, the app doesn’t notify us for 5 to 10 minutes, which defeats the purpose of having a connected system. We’ve also had issues where only one collar would communicate properly, the system wouldn’t stop alarming, and there was no way to reset it through the app.
To make matters worse, our technician accidentally switched our dogs’ collars during installation, and the app doesn’t make it obvious which collar belongs to which dog. That should be a basic feature.
The app itself is almost useless. It provides very little control, very little troubleshooting capability, and leaves you waiting on a dealer for nearly everything.
So far, this has been a complete waste of money. The product was sold as a modern, smart containment system, but the experience has been the opposite. Too much was promised, and very little has been delivered.

Can’t log in
The most recent update doesn’t work. It asked for an authorization code and then sends you right back to asking for another authorization code.
So disappointed!
We have struggled with Invisible Fence and the app not working since day 1. Customer service is always friendly but not helpful- they want to charge $99 for a service visit when the issue is with the system and the app, things out of our control. We consistently do not get alerts when the dog leaves the yard, though all systems are “working”. We spent a lot of money on this system and are now looking for alternatives. Do not waste your money.

One of the worst apps I’ve ever used
Absolutely pitiful app. I don’t get alerts if my pets leave the fence. One the off chance I DO get an alert, it doesn’t turn off when the pet returns to the yard. I feel like those 2 things are the primary reason for this app to exist, so I’m really not sure what purpose this app serves at all. Total garbage.

Be careful
We’ve had good luck and bad luck with this system/app. Sometimes (key word, sometimes) we get notified of dead batteries, pets escaping, etc but other times we don’t get any notifications at all.
Our experience: we had a collar that did not check in for several hours but we were not notified of any issue and one of our dogs ended up outside the fence line and found herself almost a mile away from the house, at night time. That sinking feeling of losing our pet was terrible, especially when we were told “how reliable” this system is. If you want a system that is constantly flaking out, look into this one as this was not the first time that happened. We are currently looking at alternatives for the safety of our pets.
