Why does the application ask me to refresh once a month? It seems like seems like an overkill to me and it’s annoying having to refresh once a month.

The DMV enters the 21st century! Easy to use and no long lines. I know the DMV wallet doesn’t replace the plastic card, but it’s a great backup.

So I have a regular drivers license in California and I also went and got my real ID so when I tried to verify or add my regular drivers license because I prefer the picture on there, it got declined and only accepted my real ID and I didn’t see any notification that you needed to use your real ID

Why do I need to refresh every time I use it?!!! Standing in line like an idiot checking out with alcohol while I try to get a signal and takes it’s time to refresh and everyone looking at me while I hold the line for a few minutes.

The refresh is needed way too often. When you actually need this app in a pinch the app tells everyone that it’s out of date and hopefully you have service to update in 5 minutes with the person you are trying to show is waiting. Meanwhile the plastic IDs are good for 5 years.
Great idea but no one accepts it
The app is a great concept and has a lot of potential. Having a digital driver’s license on your phone would be convenient if you forget your wallet or just want a faster way to verify your ID. Unfortunately, almost no businesses or places actually accept it, so I still have to carry my physical license everywhere. Until it’s accepted more widely, it just ends up taking up space on my phone instead of being a useful replacement. I hope more places start supporting it because the idea itself is excellent imo.

Doesn’t work or act like DL
Does not show like an actual drivers license nor is it accepted anywhere as described. This is merely a picture but provides no validation as an official DL or ID. This should show in the app as an actual drivers license, reflecting all of the drivers license information as if it was the real card.
