God leave me alone about writing a review

It’s good! Okay?!

Service

It’s frustrating to not be offered a replacement when the order is wrong or missing items. Because when I am only offered a “refund” for the exact amount regardless of having to place a new order- it doesn’t cover the additional cost. So my $11 refund turns into me owning another $4 to order it again because I have to pay service and new tip. What else am I supposed to do if my order didn’t arrive? So then the burden is on me to pay extra money for the same thing when the mistake was at the restaurant and they should absorb that cost not the customer.

No support

Caviar is owned by DoorDash. But DoorDash will not provide any support if there are Caviar issues. Don’t use this app.

Avoid at all costs!

Caviar, owned by DoorDash, seems to be DoorDash’s way of pushing damages off to merchants. While DoorDash accepts payments, organizes orders, assigns delivery drivers and tracks orders, unlike competitor delivery apps, if you have an order issue they will not refund you. Instead, they tell you to contact the merchant.

The merchant only made the food, the rest of the chain is DoorDash’s control, but caviar allows them to claim otherwise.

Zero on support

There is absolutely nowhere to insert your thoughts concerns, trying to find support on this site is extremely difficult. I’ve been trying to give it a chance, but it’s a problem.

Fees are too high to justify using any longer

Each city should start a municipal food delivery service that employees any resident of the city to deliver food for no fees anywhere and paid for by a wealth tax on the wealthy that raise prices in that city.

Multiple location algorithm is terrible

The service from this app is terrible. You can complain about the restaurant or the driver, but every problem stems from Caviar itself, and there’s no way to provide feedback to them. As a tech company, don’t they want to improve or collect data? It’s a joke

Stop using AI

Menu items have made up descriptions using AI that do not represent the actual dish from the restaurant.

Trash

Very little restaurant selection. Customer service is hard to get a hold of and you’ll be lucky if you get someone without an attitude. And I purchased their year’s membership and still have to pay a ton in fees.

Ruined by “AI”

A once-cool app ruined by useless, creepy “agentic” features. The platform decay is real.

Caviar (owned by Door Dash) does not support DC autonomy

I have probably spent tens of thousands of dollars through Caviar/DD. Deleted my account after watching Rep Comer list your company as a supporter of legislation telling myself and my neighbors that we shouldn’t be able to vote for tax cuts.

This effort is going to die in the Senate, so a huge congratulations to your government affairs team on squandering whatever goodwill you had in the city. I’ll share with any of your DC users that you betrayed our Constitutional rights over 20 cents.

Debbie

Not sure keeps telling me can’t deliver to my address

Time scam

Says a time, delivers 30 minutes later.

Just a skin

It’s just a skin of DoorDash not anything else Apple should remove it

Absolute Joke

$30 for a $16 meal to be delivered 10 minutes away, only for it to take 70 minutes and the food to be cold. Customer service’s answer? An $8 refund. Pathetic.

Ehh

I keep getting random errors when trying to get my food

This was great

I’m killin’ it with deliveries now. Thx (;

No refund

They won’t give a full refund when food will be 90 minutes late due to their lack of drivers.

Never get my full order half the time I can’t order from certain places

Barely ever got the order I pay for half the time people leave out things I had a cookie with a bite taken out of it drivers need to be better at their jobs and pay more the other day someone dumped a whole bag of someone else’s McDonald’s on my porch and we left it and they never came back for it so the birds had good meal
