I’ve never left a 1 star review for an app before, but this deserves it. The signs in the University said to use this app to do laundry, so I believed them and put 5£ into the app. The app never connected to the machines, I tried contacting customer support but because I have a US phone number it blocked me. I tried doing the live chat on the website, but it also blocked me. This is my last resort.

Could be the worst app of all time, won’t let me refund money so now it has to sit in my account I no longer use.
Disgusting experience
Absolutely awful experience. I had laundry to do today, loaded my clothes, and opened the Circuit Laundry Plus app — but none of the washers showed up, even though Bluetooth was working fine. I tried everything, restarted my phone, reinstalled the app — still nothing.
As a last resort, I went to the on-site payment kiosk, but that didn’t work either. I pressed START and tried to follow instructions, but the system just wouldn’t respond or let me pay. Both the app and the machine are unusable.
Now my clothes are loaded, I’m stuck with no way to start the wash, and I’ve wasted time and effort. This service is supposed to be reliable — instead, it’s a complete failure. Circuit really needs to overhaul their app and ensure the kiosks actually work.
If I could give zero stars, I would.

Pathetic Excuse for an App
This digital garbage crashes on opening, and doesn’t report the actual time left on the machine. Doesn’t accept ApplePay in 2025.

A disgrace to laundry
I hate this app with a passion never in my life has it taken longer to start laundry than it does to do it. I would not wish the displeasure of using this app upon my worst enemy. I genuinely wish this app would get removed from the app store. If I could give a negative star rating I would.

Useless
Constantly running into issues when attempting to make balance transfers. Live chat help desk never connects me to an agent or will connect me after 20 minutes, which by that time I will have already swiped off the chat. There’s a reason why the circuit app franchise is rated so low. Hate that you are forced to use it, otherwise you can’t wash your bloody clothes.

CHECK THIS IS THE RIGHT APP!
This is not the latest update. This might not be the correct App for your building. There are 3 Circuit laundry Apps. Beware if you must load £5 (min) onto the App and then if you can’t use it (helpline was useless) there is a £2 refund fee. Try challenging the bank transfer through your bank instead.

A scam, use your local laundromat instead. These guys will take your money, the machines don’t work. They charge you for a refund!

A hugely overpriced App which doesn’t work most of the time, and when it does it leaves your clothes soggy, unclean, and often in a worse state than when I put them in.

Awful. The app keeps crashing, and on multiple occasions the machines have taken my money and not even started. To cap it all off it’s £5.70 per wash, which is absolutely obscene and incredibly predatory considering a lot of students are forced to use it.
Garbage
If you are looking at a residence that uses this trash service, think twice about living there. Machines are constantly broken and customer service is non existent.
Made me hate laundry even more
Worst experience with apps and customer service overall. Got my credits uploaded to the app with a month of delay in both semesters, had to switch apps and get my credits transferred because Circuit is completely against the idea of rolling out an update on existing app for some reason. 1 star overall rating is a quite clear indication of what you’ll experience with Circuit Laundry.

£5.70 for a wash and dry, takes a million years to actually get the machine connected to the app, cant seem to remember my bank details ever, just a genuinely horrible application

£5 minimum? Why?
App is full of bugs, mainly not remembering bank details or showing busy/in progress machines, on top of the app not working the machines like to break down as well… and then the adding money part? Why is it a £5 minimum when either a wash by itself costs less than £5 or a wash and dry is £5 plus? Makes balancing out and adding stupid amounts of money to an app which rarely works and will only be used two or three times a week very annoying financially for students or people that aren’t well off… it needs changing but whether that happens, is a big ask.
