Updates

Lost power 4 times during this past couple months and every time I keep getting messages saying they don’t know when it will be resolved. App is fine but service is horrible. I’ve spent hundreds on gas to keep my generator going to keep my food from going bad and I can’t even get a good estimate. Last time I was out of power for 2 weeks and now I need to go through this again? Yet half my neighbors have power.

App says power on when it obviously is not

I live in south suburban Chicago which has seen several storms that have knocked out power. Not blaming ComEd for that but when I go to the app to get more info, it shows my power is on which is clearly is not. I report the outage. If I go back to the app hours later to again try and find out status, the app will again show that my power is on. It overrides my power out status and lies to my face that the power is on. I swear It’s like a slap in the face. I will again report outage. Hours later, I check status and Comed tells me my power is on as I sit in a dark house. You can’t trust this app.

DO BETTER COMED

Absolutely terrible service from ComEd. This is the second time this month my 65-year-old mother has lost power because of supposedly “storms.

I understand that severe weather can cause outages, but when this keeps happening, ComEd needs to take responsibility and invest in fixing its infrastructure instead of continuing to prioritize executive compensation and shareholder profits.
People depend on electricity for medical equipment, refrigerated medications, FOOD, air conditioning, and basic safety. Leaving elderly and medically vulnerable customers without power during dangerous summer heatwaves is completely unacceptable.

ComEd needs to do better. Invest in a stronger, more reliable grid and put customers' safety ahead of profits. This is not just an inconvenience—for some people, losing power can be a serious health and safety emergency.

Absolutely disgusting service.

The app is fine I guess but what good is it when theres no service to use it with.

Great work!

This app is very helpful to people paying their own bills!

Poor power consistency.

Power goes out from a slight breeze, a little rain, sometimes nothing identifiable. Of course, a thunderstorm, of ANY magnitude, and it's guaranteed to go out. ONLY in my neighborhood while a few blocks away in the same town, they haven't lost power at all. Poor communication, much too lengthy "assessment" and repair times, and the bill keeps rising. Com Ed is terrible!
