nothing but a scam
i just got the $45 1 gig plan for life with free installation .also adding a phone for $5 a month.it was installed today. my internet speed is 518 mbps. they also are charging $90. basically they charge you twice the amount for half the speed you paid for. i told them if my bill is more than what is listed that i will immediately cancel my account . looks like i will cancel. i can’t stand companies that lie. i manage a service company and we are straight forward. we follow through on what we say. im probably gonna go back to att&t they promise $55 and that’s exactly what my bill was every single month. i can understand having some fees but $40 extra is ludicrous.

Just stay away
My service was going in and out my bill kept rising randomly every other month. I had them replace the line and it still was always going down. I got a new service that is more reliable and when I called to cancel Astound it took me over 10 minutes of saying no to deals, they kept trying to give me money off. Then the rep hung on the line because they didn’t want a bad review. They also told me it was impossible to get any type of evidence or receipt that I canceled my service.

Not working
The app is not working. After logging in, it shows a white box with the logo on top and a purple box on the bottom. There is no content. I am worried that an internet provider couldn’t get the basic technology right.
