Damaged luggage
Extremely disappointed with my recent Emirates experience. My checked luggage arrived with the zipper and lock broken, and it was obvious that my belongings had been searched and left in a complete mess. There was no security inspection notice or any explanation for what had happened. I trusted Emirates to handle my baggage with care, but instead it was returned to me damaged and mishandled. This level of service is unacceptable for an airline that promotes itself as a premium carrier. I expect Emirates to take responsibility and resolve this matter fairly.

Worst of all the airline apps
Absolutely nothing works, in their app or on their site. Not setting a new password, loading seat selection, nothing. How can an airline offer such a good in-flight experience and such a poor online experience.
Unusable for holidays booking via Emirates
Doesn’t accept holiday booking reference, not the flight booking number. Have deleted the app now.

The app has a bug. Can’t proceed to payment after selecting my fare.
Issue to buy seats
There is a issue in purchasing a seat , when you go to buy a seat, cannot add a payment method, no option to add card details or any way of payment. I tried to get help from team but no result. please address the issue.

Unable to make any updates/changes to my itinerary for the past week as the app keeps throwing technical error.

First of all to my fellow reviewers, my understanding is that these reviews are for the app NOT for the Emirates Airlines, which is fantastic!
I’m writing this review because I find the app to be completely useless most of the time. So far any time I’ve tried to do anything on the app, I get an error message. I’ve given up and will simply use their website. I guess I’ll be getting a paper boarding pass too.

Mobile boarding pass
Mobile boarding pass does not show automatically while at the airport. Works for every other airline except emirates!! Broken for 5 years.

Needs work
Not a great app. Had to continuously add in my trip to see it on the app and it would often crash. Ended up just using the web browser

Emerate airline! We pay thousand dollars for ticket but the service is so bad! during flight time meal and other drinks are always the same. even you can not prefer what you want. you eat what they gives you!
Your support part of the app work soooo bad and buggy
First of all why is it not build in to your app? It’s 2026 year and it’s so easy to add chat with support and give all user information to the team. Why you open browser in your app to use support?
Second: I was in chat with support few minutes, explained a lot of things about my problem and then support chat just closed. And when I tried to open it again it start new chat with new assistant that I have to again explain everything.
The experience of using this part of the app is so bad. Never seen any apps made this poor.

Only works on new OS
How annoying that an app that works now cannot be updated without buying a new iPhone, I will go back to my old android instead, or use Qatar!
