Buggy Seat Selection and startup ads..

If a connecting flight, in my case the final flight in the US, is with another airline you can’t checkout with the upgraded seats you selected for Qatar flights. This ended up costing me an extra legroom seat on a 16hr flight.
Oh and the app launches with their own ads, which is quite annoying when trying to quickly check info.

Disappointing first experience.

How can I earn rewards with the app?

You can earn Avios rewards by joining the Privilege Club and flying with Qatar Airways or its oneworld® partners. The app allows you to check your Avios balance and explore all the ways you can collect and spend them. You can also earn Avios on everyday life, not just when flying.

What are the key features of the Qatar Airways app?

Key features include personalized travel inspiration and recommendations, a smart booking wizard, earning Avios on flights, an AI-powered assistant named Sama for bookings and in-flight services, stopover package booking, secure payment options, and live trip updates on your lock screen.

Can I use the app to manage my booking after I've purchased it?

Absolutely. Once you add your trip to the app, you can take full control of your journey. This includes making flight changes, selecting seats, checking in, downloading your digital boarding pass, and purchasing additional services like special baggage or an e-SIM.
