The app is not user friendly
I hate to use this app.

I can’t add my documents. I added my visa and passport manually but it says verification needed, so i try to upload them through the camera but it keeps saying verification rejected. Idk what to do. Also why does the app use browser to access the site?

When you are outside the Emirates you have no way if contacting the air line and the AP is worthless unless you're booking ticket

After delay the fight we stay on long lines to get meals for my kids when my turns they said should add copious to your boarding pass unfortunately I paid the meal for my children it’s was low quality service ever I seen

Very cumbersome and rigid.
Cannot choose seats, or select priority services. Even the help desk could not help. This would have been Ok 30 years back, not in this day and age.

Manage your booking
Cannot modify your own booking by changing flight dates. Not updated to a good level.
Shamefully bad
This app is diabolical. I am logged in and get the whole way to buying a ticket with points, and it tells me I have to login! Then it locks up. Then I do the whole thing again (having logged out) and it freezes. And that is to say nothing of all the hidden charges. Even when you pay for a more expensive ticket that says the extra is zero, it adds on at checkout. In fact the extras were 400 AED more for the more expensive economy flight even though when you select it, it states the miles and says 0 AED charges. Then when you come to pay, if you want to double check the flight details before doing so, you can’t. They bounce you out and you have to start again. And every other time, the app freezes and you end up with a spinning dial of death. This is not how a National flag bearing airline behaves. Ryanair would be ashamed of the tactics (but at least their app would work).
