The worst airline app.
How is it possible that one of the wealthiest airlines has an app that is so poorly designed that it’s impossible to either register or purchase additional services? Business leaders, pay attention to this important detail — customer loyalty depends not only on convenience on board but also on the ground! 10 years ago, I had the misfortune to fly with Etihad, and the same thing — the digital services are below par. The design is decent, but browser‑based apps are always worse than native ones. It runs very slowly and crashes constantly. I chose the seats three times, I’m ready to pay, but I still couldn’t. I wrote to support — no response, not even a follow‑up. Horror.

App is easy to use and efficient to find anything you need. We have Judy transitted through Abu Dhabi we have just had a seamless flight from male to Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi to Manchester and we arrived home an hour earlier than scheduled.

В феврале 2026 года мы должны были приземлиться в Мск, но экипаж Этихада принял решение посадить нас в Питере, продержать там 5 часов в самолете, не предоставляя никакой информации, не давая еду и воду (не смотря на то, что все остальные авиакомпании спокойно сажали свои самолеты в Мск).
На тот момент я была в конце 1 триместра беременности, на улице, как вы понимаете, было очень холодно, все теплые вещи были в багаже, который нам не выдали по прилету в Питер.
Представители компании Этихад нас не встретили, ничего не пояснили, просто высадили за тысячи километров от дома, без теплых вещей и добирайтесь как хотите и за свой счет (экипаж обещал, что нам возместят все расходы за тот путь, что мы совершим самостоятельно домой из Питера, документы мы соответствующие заполняли в Пулково на возврат багажа и доставку его домой). Мало того, что чемоданы мы ездили забирать сами в Шереметьево из Московской области за свой счет, так еще и за прошедшие полгода нам никто ничего не возместил, никаких денег не вернули-просто отписки, отговорки, тянут время и говорят, что все перечислили, но когда просим платежное поручение по факту оплаты, начинается все заново…
Я, будучи тогда беременной, очень сильно заболела после такого пути в морозы за тысячу км от дома…и это негативно сказалось на беременности.
Выводы, думаю, можно сделать самые ясные: компания Этихад бессовестная и безответственная, иметь с ними дел никаких не рекомендую!

Shocking app, can’t create an account or do anything with it
Nasty Airline
They don’t care if you miss the flight, who the heck place a family in 1 hour connection while the baggage claim is a must. The experience was so horrible that I would never ever fly with this junky airline again.

Poor allocation and it does not happen automatically. The staff behind the counters in the Abu Dhabi Lounge are average and do not go beyond their 9-5 attitude

Tried changing flight and does not give option of changing flight on manage my booking

Website and app has too many options. You have sign in then get stupid extra layer of OTP , POINTLESS! I’ve put in email
And password. Check in family of 4 took two hours, initially spent 3 hours with support to sort club numbers which didn’t work. All booking and customer service with Etihad is garbage!

Mobile- cannot see screen to add seat
Had to rotate the screen to see the seat confirmation and now it is stuck on the payment screen

Wir haben die App wiederholt genutzt. Sie ist langsam und immer wieder kam es zum Abbruch bei der Zahlung, auch über verschiedene Zahlungswege.
Große Gepäckstücke zu horrenden Aufschlägen, Sondermahlzeiten können gar nicht bestellt werden. Habe jetzt den gleichen Flug über einen anderen Anbieter gebucht: Hauptgepäck ohne Aufpreis, Sondernahlzeiten vorab bestellbar, die Zahlung ohne Probleme - und das alles 200 Euro günstiger.

One of the WORST Airline APPS ever used. Keeps crashing and cannot choose or pay for seats as checkout crashes. Terrible APP that is not fit for purpose.
Worst experience ever
I had a flight from Boston to Delhi. They delayed the first flight so I missed my connected flight by 10 minutes. Then they booked me a flight with layover 35 hours. Without even asking or giving hotel food voucher anything. Even for visa I needed to apply personally they didn’t help. Stuff was very rude and only giving priority to business and first class travelers. It was my first time flying this airline. Never flying again!

The app is not user friendly
I hate to use this app.

I can’t add my documents. I added my visa and passport manually but it says verification needed, so i try to upload them through the camera but it keeps saying verification rejected. Idk what to do. Also why does the app use browser to access the site?
