There is no way to change your flight on this app and the customer service line is always busy.

Terrible app, so much Taiwanese cyber security, even when you log in it asks to check if your human. Super slow app, crashes all the time. I will just use a Europe airline as this is too frustrating

Data is lost frequently/ restart to step one for check ins and added passengers
I understand the need for data, security and privacy, especially given the carriers location. However, the app and the website are very often losing data. That’s been recently entered and requires the user to re-enter items in the name of system issues or other failures. Airline scores major points for service and professionalism in real life.

非常慢才能開出一個頁面
每次點進去要查行程，要等非常非常久的時間才開出頁面或甚至開不了。這情況已經很多年了至今尚未改善
Bad app and website
So many times things just don’t work in the app or on their website. I like the flights, but will avoid them just because scheduling or making changes is such a hassle.
Logs you out without notifying you
I love the airline, but the app itself is annoying. Slow to load for one. But the biggest complaint I have is it not notifying you that it logged you out. Twice, it has happened, twice I did not get the miles for those roundtrip tickets. And now, it has happened a third time. For those saying I can appeal? They were for my wife, so they cannot be claimed by me or her as we are sharing the account and claiming it on another will make accruing them a moot point, bow wouldn’t it?

Senior married couple(biz-class)with same reservation number was forced to have different row seats
When the reservation was placed, neither the reservation nor the online check-in would allow seating choice. The check-in counter nor the transfer counter can help. This really created a hardship because we are both seniors and must physically help each other.

Slow and unstable
EVA as an airline is good but this app is not. Performing any action is extremely slow (even on a fast connection). I am constantly staring at loading spinners while trying to check in, change seats, track bags - anything you would want an airline app to do reliably and quickly. That’s even if it works in the first place - the app constantly kicks me out of what I’m doing if I quickly switch to another app, say, to check email or look up my passport number. Absolutely infuriating and makes travel even more stressful than it already is.

Flight status does not show gate number
It so basic feature to show gate number on flight status but only shows when boarding pass is pulled up.
Not a good app to use
I booked my ticket through travel agent, but when I trying to check in using the app it doesn’t work and keeps showing error messages. Only my travel agent can help me checking in. Really disappointed.

Most worthless unresponsive app I ever used . Fire yourself and be replaced by Ai programmers.
App Is Slow/Doesn’t Load
The app is terrible. The check in function barely works, had to check-in at the counter because this function was unusable. Had 2 other people with me on this trip, they had the same issue either this app. Billion dollar company doesn’t know how to invest in proper software to create an ease of experience for their passengers.

Not happy having to check my carry on
My carry on weighed 13.7 lbs and they forced me to check it saying it was over the weight limit. I later googled what the policy weight was for EVA Air and it was any bag over 15 lbs. They flat out lied to me. Shame on them.
