Always sold out

I never write reviews… but this is bad enough to. I’ve had fashion pass for two weeks and I regretted purchasing the subscription immediately. I closeted so many cute things dnd thought I’d love the subscription. I’ve used nuuly in the past and highly recommend that over fashion pass. After I purchased the subscription it turns out everything I closeted was completely sold out. I tried to cancel and they told me I couldn’t, and then after purchase I tried to exchange a few items. One came with a broken zipper (a love shack fancy skirt) and two didn’t fit it has been 4 days since I returned it and have been told it still hasn’t been returned. I’ve tried reaching out to member services and they keep telling me the same thing - it hasn’t been scanned and to wait another 48 hours. I highly DO NOT recommend fashion pass.

ORDERS DELAYED, SUBPAR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Both of my orders this month arrived 7 days after shipping — not the 1–3 days promised on their site. Both arrived after the events I needed them for, making the service completely useless to me.

When I reached out to customer service, they blamed the carrier, offered a $20 credit and a free third shipment I couldn't even use before my billing cycle renewed. When I asked for a refund, I was met with more deflection. I paid for a service I literally could not use.

THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR ITEMS YOU RETURNED!!! Worst experience using fashion pass would not even recommend to my worst enemy. If you like to be accused and charged for items that you return then go ahead and use this service but for those who don’t like to be wrongfully accused and charged for items you sent back steer clear of this company. SCAM DISCOUNTS

I was so excited to try FashionPass for the first time because I’d heard how easy it was to purchase rentals — just click “keep” and you’ll be billed. For Halloween, they sent out a promo for 20% off any purchase sitewide, so I decided to keep one of my rental items.

When I clicked “keep,” there was no checkout page or option to apply the discount. I reached out to customer service and waited a few days for a reply, only to be told that my discount didn’t apply because it was a “rental-to-purchase” — even though that’s literally how their platform says to purchase something. Now I’m being told that if I return it, I’ll be charged $20.

It honestly feels like a scam. The promotion was misleading, the customer service was slow and unhelpful, and there was no transparency in the process. Really disappointed — I was excited to use this service, but after this experience, I won’t be recommending FashionPass to anyone.

Best way to scratch the itch

This is the best way to get that feeling of getting the newest cutest clothes and always looking forward to what is arriving at my door! Best part is I don’t have to pay for the cleaning or have to deal with buyers remorse after wearing the item. I also get to try out new brands this way and I feel like I always get the best compliments when I’m wearing something FashionPass!

Try Nuuly or RTR! Beware of this company. It’s basically a scam

Don’t sign up. There is no way to get in touch with anyone directly. You can email and it takes DAYS to hear back. You have to “request” a cancellation. There’s a new federal one click cancellation law, so hopefully that takes care of that issue soon. It kicks in during July, I believe. So- maybe that will fix that problem. You only get one return label. So don’t transfer items or you’ll be CHARGED hundreds for the items bc there is no return label available to send them back.

There is zero customer service with this company. Basically- just burn your money bc it’s less of a hassle that way.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

I was weary about trying a clothing rental service but FashionPass has really delivered on all fronts! Love being able to safe stuff and plan out my month / outfits. Super cute stuff and obsessed with items they have from loveshackfancy + Show me your Mumu (my fav brands atm)!!

Best rental service out there!

FashionPass is by far the best rental service out there. The site has so many amazing features like saving items for later, monthly order tracker, trending member orders, and more. OBSESSED with all the clothing options too!! I get compliments everywhere I go

can’t even log in

the app is unusable because i can’t even log in. i get stuck on the verification code page. i always end up having to just use my browser

My favorite subscription i’ve tried!

FP is the best just do it!! Their selection of clothes/brands is top tier and everything comes clean and nicely packaged unlike other rental sites I’ve tried. Literally dont know what i did before fp!!!

Love!! but Needs Improvement

I loveee FP, I’ve always had wonderful experiences with customer service and I feel the price is very fair for what you get. Shipping is always VERY fast and returns are super easy. Very rarely am I sent a clothing item that seems over worn, in fact I am often sent brand new stuff with tags still on. I do miss the old model of being able to do monthly unlimited rentals, but still get a good use out of the 2 monthly rentals. I feel as though they can improve in the following ways:

-FP has a much much smaller overall selection when compared to other clothing rental companies. Because of this, you guys seriously need to increase the inventory of the selection you already have. Everything is always rented out, and there is no option to receive a notification when a clothing item/accessory is finally available after being completely rented out for extended periods of time.

-Please bring back the option to purchase 1-2 additional items during rentals. Since doing away with this, I’ve had several experiences where I order clothes for a certain event and the size is wrong or it just doesn’t work. It’s a complete waste to use a rental on a clothing item you don’t end up using, and it makes total sense to allow users to pay the extra cost to rent an additional item in order to make their rental worth while. If keeping inventory in stock is the problem - again - you guys need to keep larger quantities in inventory.

-Please consider implementing a “notify me when this becomes available” option. I’m not sure what the reason is for not already having this available as a feature. There are more than several clothing items and accessories I’ve been waiting to rent out for 5+ months. I understand you guys receive returns on a daily basis and stuff is always coming back into stock. That’s great. I don’t watch the app all day waiting for something to come back in stock in my size.

Deceitful Billing

DO NOT JOIN THIS SERVICE UNLESS YOU WANT RANDOM CHARGES.

I tried FashionPass and quickly decided it wasn’t for me (lack of sizes, nothing was ever in stock, etc), so I cancelled my subscription and followed the cancellation policy instructions. Despite this, I was still charged for the next month. When I reached out, they said “omg this has never happened before our bad” and said they’d refund me, but as of now the refund still hasn’t gone through. Then, after my subscription was cancelled, I was charged for three items I returned, totaling almost $500. This was insane considering the clothing hadn’t even been delivered to their warehouse at the time of the charge.

Now, I’m emailing customer service (since there’s no phone number) trying to get back the money they “accidentally” charged me. They took $600 out of my account unauthorized and now I am just waiting for a refund. As of now, I still haven’t received any communication back regarding the almost $500 charge for the returned items. This situation has been incredibly frustrating and time-consuming. Try Nuuly or any other site unless you want $600 missing from your account.
