Medical bill denied
Stay away from this pet insurance, they will find a hundred reasons to not cover the bill. My baby recent had a swollen face due to teeth infection, so treatment plan is for teeth extraction Which he did. And we claims the insurance and for denied. They were saying because my dog has mild teeth tartar in the past. That was ridiculous!! That wasn’t a diagnosis as “pre- existing “ condition for the teeth. And the vet also try to help me fight for it. They just keep saying is consider pre existing condition. If you looking for the best insurance for you pets. Stay away from this one !!!

Buggy app with zero support
I submitted two claims for an issue over the course of two days with separate invoices and amounts. Apparently Fetch deemed it was a duplicate invoice and declined the second claim. Now every time I try to submit a fresh claim with the correct invoice, they simply disappear into the ether. No acknowledgement text/email, no recourse.

Ease of use
The app is user friendly and easy to use, but I would like one spot to be able to upload medical history, and not have to submit it every time, unless there has been changes made.

When trying to have a conversation with an actual employee it is very hard to get past AI.

This is the worst pet insurance I have ever had or had to work with they are impossible. They deny everything and try to find any possible way to make your claim not eligible.

App does not let you login while traveling on Asia.

Its a company that cares a lot about you, not your cat or you, just your money, the fundamental of the company is try to take all the clients money… would be ashamed of working for this insurance company…

Fetch has made claim reimbursement easy. They have been very helpful with answering questions on coverage.
Beware — can only cancel by phone after multiple attempts to change your mind!
I have been a Fetch customer for many years, and The requirements for claim data has gotten ridiculous ! After submitting all the necessary info for a claim, which was finally approved, a follow-up appointment requires all the dog’s health history (exactly what has been submitted several times already), as well as the notes on the recent vet appt. I understand wanting to review the notes on the current appointment, but requiring all the notes for what you have already been provided multiple times is ridiculous!

Misleading coverage and poor customer service
Fetch “conveniently” approached me at SFSPCA while I was still completing paperwork for rescuing a cat from them. A sweet older woman showed me some numbers, told me how wonderful they are, got her commission and we (Jerry cat and I) were on our way home. It’s been 2 months and of the 3 claims I submitted, all 3 were denied. Our first vet appointment just to get Jerry seen by a vet (all $100) was denied because of a preexisting condition. I was told that I did t select the “wellness” policy. Fine, I tried adding the wellness policy to my current one but NO, I have to wait an entire year to do that?! Bye Fetch!

Existing Claim
I currently have an existing claim that has been pending for an extended period of time. I have submitted all requested documentation multiple times, yet the claim continues to remain in the history section without any apparent progress or updates.
Each time I reach out for assistance, I receive the same generic instructions, despite already completing those steps. Unfortunately, this has left me with little confidence that my claim is being actively reviewed or managed.
As a paying customer, it is extremely frustrating to pay for pet insurance and then encounter significant delays, limited communication, and a lack of meaningful support when attempting to use the coverage. The claims process has been unnecessarily difficult, and response times have been far longer than expected.
I would appreciate a clear explanation of the status of my claim, confirmation that all required documents have been received, and prompt action to move this matter forward.

Never had pet insurance until now
After my last cat, who is extremely expensive and has a ton of medical issues, I decided to get pet insurance after being offered it by a Fetch rep at the humane society after getting my now kitten. I am a college student and bills are scary and can get expensive quickly and I really love that Fetch just gives me peace of mind knowing that I have some sort of financial support. Whether that is for checkups or medical emergencies. It’s super easy to use and makes me feel secured. Thank you so much for helping me with my first pet!
