Won’t let me scan into the club

Employees have no idea why

Won’t delete my account

It saying you have to contact gym to delete your account I don’t agree and they won’t delete it without a fee

Where’s the digital access screen?

Still require old black pass to access old lockers

Very poor design for a pricey gym

Poorly designed app. I have not been able to log in since it has started. I have spoken to 4 people at the reception about it and finally they have logged in a complaint with IT. No update for 3 weeks now. I’m beginning to wonder if I’m hallucinating.

doesn’t scan

doesn’t scan well and i don’t get let into gym after hours

Slow and annoying

Bad Idea

What was the point in digital access? The lockers aren’t updated so I still need my card anyway, it’s not a very good idea? So I have to use my phone and I’m still using the card? I wonder if it would be better if it was all on one system…like the card that already existed. I’m only writing this review because I had to update the app of course, the card never needed updating ahaha

Digital access disaster

To have to get out your phone, then open the app, then sign in to the app just to enter the club is a terrible experience. I’ve taken to not scanning in at all, which I see many others doing. Given the doors are unlocked in staff hours I can only imagine how many people are accessing the gym without paying for a membership.

App is slow, unreliable and readers have badly positioned indicator lights

The app is slow, takes too long to approve your access and the interface design is poor because you have to cover the status light with your phone so you don’t actually know whether it’s approved you or not. Similarly, sometimes the doors don’t open after the app green light comes on and you have to do it several additional times. Finally, needing my membership card to access lockers defeats the purpose of the app - at least make PIN activated lockers available nationwide. And please, make the app available on my Apple Watch. Fitness First has enough of an issue with members wasting time on their phones rather than working out and this exacerbates more mobile phones on the gym floor.

Why does it require Wifi, Bluetooth and Location Data?

Why does an app to access the gym require wifi, Bluetooth and location data? All we needed was a simple keycard. Seems like a blatant grab at your personal data.

Signs out constantly

I now have to use this app each day because they’ve switched to digital entry (the keyring tags worked way better) but nearly every day I open the app as I’m entering the gym and it’s signed me out. It’s extremely annoying because the cell service is pretty terrible right by the gym entrance. Please fix.

Missing Function

It is reasonably easy to use. One significant function that is missing is you can see all your booked classes on one screen. Currently you have to go into every club you booked in your class to check what and when you have booked, it is very inconvenient and unnecessarily cumbersome .

What’s the point?

You used to be able yo update your direct deposit details, cancel your membership directly through the website. Now? The app doesn’t let you do any of these things. Can someone confirm how this is aligned to the ACL?

Useless app

Yikes! Such a terrible “upgrade” from physical card. They somehow made the more inconvenient to get into the gym. They should’ve just made it a card you add to your Apple wallet or just kept it as it was.

Poor access implementation

I’m not sure why FF decided to use Bluetooth instead of NFC but the experience is not great. Maybe 15 years ago this would have been acceptable but not having the card integrated in to Apple/Google Wallet is a huge disappointment. The access experience is well below par and I can’t understand why this technology was chosen over industry standards.

Where’s the digital access screen?

There isn’t a digital access screen in my app ?

sometimes doesn’t even scan you in

now you have to bring your phone to scan into the gym but the problem is sometimes the scan doesn’t even work so you’re left stranded outside the gym if you go outside of staffed hours. this needs to be fixed

App now wants Full Calendar Access

Previously this App only required “Add only” access to add calendar invites. Now it is asking for Full Access. Why should anyone provide third party will full access to their calendar to add events/reminders. Please read other reviews about similar access for Contacts. BEWARE Enabling this access provides the potential for full access to your data and enable this information to be passed on.

Full of trackers

Why am I being forced to install spyware on my phone to gain access to the gym? This app is awful, has poor usability and crashes. The sole purpose seems to be spying on my device.

Probably cancelling my membership

I don’t want your app on my phone.
