Does not pair with iPhone
This app does not want to pair with my network after I add the access code, no matter homing times I have installed this app after removing it.

The app is next to useless for communicating with the charger. It works then it doesn’t.
Don’t even bother
This app is garbage and the customer service is worse. It refuses to connect to the Ford app. Do yourself a favor and buy a cheaper charger and just use the Ford app to control your charging.
Can’t Connect to Ford Pass
The app stalls when trying to connect to my Ford Pass account. Followed all the instructions, connected via Bluetooth to the charger, connected it to the wifi (even independently confirmed a strong signal to the charger through my router), but the last step always fails - can’t connect the charger to my Ford Pass account. Called customer service multiple times. They’re very polite, but no one there can fix this issue. They claim they’re going to escalate, but no one has called me back. Some of these reviews go back years. Ford clearly doesn’t want to solve this problem. Don’t buy a Ford charger.

Can’t pair
Can’t pair to the station; tried multiple phones and tablets. No indication of any support information. Would give it zero stars if I could.

Just got the charger installed. Added this app to connect to the Ford app for additional information and stuff.
As others have said the app does not remember your station so you have to input the information again. If you try to manually add it in the Ford app it fails saying the information is incorrect when you can clearly see the sticker with the information.
Whomever is coding this app needs to start from scratch as it is a waste of the users time and phone space having an app that does not function.
My suggestion is to remove it from the App Store and start over from the ground up. People want usable apps not just pretty lights and graphs.

Please fix the charging app
The app is not efficient and keeps erroring out my charge sessions. Had to delete the app after first setup for the charger to work reliably!

The app is simply not good. It does remember the station so you have to pair every single time you open it. It does not tell you if it has WiFi signal or not. Does not tell you if it’s updating. There are no options to adjust in the app.
Apparently it connects to the other ford apps but it is unable to do even that. I cannot believe such a big company who is trying to break into the EV market still has such a horrible app available.

Wallbox Ford
Keinen Zugriff mehr auf die Wallbox. Ich fahre auch keinen Ford. Folglich kann ich auch keine FIN eingeben. Jetzt im Nachhinein war es ein Fehler das ich diesen gekauft habe.

I’ve had this charger for a few years. Every so often I try to add it to my WiFi so I can reset it remotely when it stops working in sub 10 degree weather. I can pair it but can never get it to connect to the WiFi network with a great signal. Obviously everyone that uses this app finds frustrating. Please update already!!!!!

Diese App ist totaler Müll. 100 mal connected mit der Wallbox und wlan, aber der Installationsprozess merkt sich die Daten nie, da ich keine Verknüpfung zum Ford pass machen kann da ich kein Ford Auto besitze.
Also falls die App irgendeinen Mehrwert haben sollte, so zumindest nicht wenn man keinen Ford fährt.
Die Wallbox lädt Markenfremde Autos natürlich.

Won’t Pair
It’s beyond dumb that in 2024 we still deal with Bluetooth pairing problems. Oh, and awesome reviews and no updates from the developer in 2 years. Guess doesn’t work doesn’t matter.

Very poor application
Hard to impossible to use this app. I regret buying the ford charging station.

Seems to as consistently not work as the ford app
Connect but endlessly loops thru apps. Stupid!
I connect the App to the Charge Station (Bluetooth pairing, ID, Code, WiFi). The App asks to link to Ford Pass app (opens the FP app). Then the Ford Pass App asks to setup the Charge Station, which relaunches the Charge Station App, restarts the setup process. And this loop is endless. $&@?#%!!!
Charging
Ford’s MachE charging setup is poorly designed and very difficult, clumsy. There is no simple way to schedule charging either in the car or on phone app. Compared to Tesla the Ford is a mess.
