Amazing tool

I was looking for something CBT based that was somewhat guiding. This is that app. It helps me to understand my thoughts better and how they affect me. It’s also incredibly easy to help me look for a better challenging positive thought rather than just going negative.

Simple and effective

So refreshing to find a tool that allows me to do CBT work in peace. No AI guide or unnecessary frills. Just the prompts and space to acknowledge, challenge end replace troubling thoughts.

Thank you

No really. I can’t thank you enough… I hope you know I’ll forever be grateful for you who made this app.

Thank you

Thank you so much for this app!

Accessible CBT

What a great resource that guides you through quick CBT exercises anytime you want to challenge negative thoughts. And it’s free!

Brilliantly Usable App

Brilliantly simple, quick and easy to use in the moment plus private.

Best app ever!

Best and most effective way to challenge thoughts and practice CBT I have ever experienced. absolutely love it would give 1000 stars if I could.

Excellent simple CBT app!

This app is exactly what I’ve always wanted! Just the basic 3 column thought changing CBT method. I never needed all the extra bumf other apps provide. In real life all you really need is 3 columns to identify the automatic thought, the distortion and the alternative thought. This app does just that. It’s so much easier than doing it yourself either on paper or the Notes app on your phone. You can just whip open the app and record your thoughts. And it’s free! Highly recommended!

Helping me very much

This app has helped me so much. I have done CBT before and needed to start doing it again during a stressful season. This was the perfect app.

Simple yet effective

Easy to navigate and update this is a really simple way to have access to rational thoughts When thoughts spiral

Can I give this more stars?

I never leave reviews for apps, but I HAVE to leave one here. This app is so simple to use and it works like a dream. AND it’s FREE! I have been struggling with my mental health (ocd/panic disorder/dpdr) and this has been so useful so far! I would recommend it to anyone!

this app is SHOCKING.

i have ocd, generalized anxiety disorder, and major depressive disorder, and this app is a game changer.

- very VERY easy to use, straightforward, gives you one of those optional tutorials that aren’t bombarding you and aren’t a lot of reading..
- none of that “buy our premium membership to do this and that!“
- this app has gotten me out of plenty of compulsions, ocd rituals, breakdowns, and even a couple panic attacks !!

the reason this app is so shocking… IT WORKS!! it’s free and it works.

Update deleted my past entries

I’ve been using this app for a while and I loved it but I lost all of my entries I spent hours writing and I’m really upset. Now I do not want to use it.

The update deleted all my past entries. I hope they can fix this. Now everything I wrote before is gone.

Thank you so much for making this!

This is app is a great way to continue practicing CBT after I’ve been through therapy but still want some guidance on demand. Thank you!

Very useful

I find this app very helpful for looking at my thoughts and turning them into something useful rather than something self sabotaging as was my past strategy

Can I Give A Million Stars?

Guess the best things in life really are free! Thank you for creating and generously sharing this mind-and-life-transforming app with the world.

Free & Fantastic

For anyone who knows how to use CBT already, and just needs a quick phone access to the steps to think about and self challenge unhelpful thinking, this super clean no fluff app, is the best. Love the easy way I can review thoughts and edit those to make my alternative thinking more gooder for me.
And did I mention ‘free’.
Just what you need when you are a bit down - something easy to use and doesn’t ’cost’!
Thank you app developer! :)

Very helpful

The reminders happen first thing in the morning when my anxiety is highest. It calms me down to focus on this for a few minutes.

Great App and Developer

This does exactly what a CBT worksheet would do, and it’s free! No monthly subscription or in-app purchases. Thanks Evan :)

Code issues + Missing columns

While swiping to the next step from the distortions screen, a distortion gets selected/checked (unless you swipe on the small bit of negative space under the “free CBT” header). It would be better if the screens were just stacked vertically so you could scroll up and down instead of having to swipe side by side.

It’s also missing a big chunk of what goes into CBT. It should have a section for evidence with 2 lists; one column where you write evidence for the automatic thought, and one against the automatic thought. The other section missing is “worst case scenario,” and percentage chance you will be okay if that happens.

Also wish it had a navigation bar on bottom and ability to tag or categorize different kinds of thoughts (work, family, dating, etc), and filter/view those.
