CRM selection

I’ve spent the last month doing a comprehensive review of sales CRMs as we transition away from Oracle NetSuite due building our own financial backend on blockchain. I looked at Freshsales, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Insightly, Pipedrive & Pipeline.

I discounted Salesforce early due to it complexity, cost to maintain and need for developers.

Next I dropped Pipedrive and Pipeline because I could not attach the same person to many entities.

I then built out Freshsales, HubSpot, Zoho & Insightly. I tried to use each one. All are capable CRMs.

I then discounted HubSpot, great for marketing but not as good for sales.

Insightly is just not modern enough.

Do that Freshsales & Zoho. I fully built out both and the further I got into the more Freshsales rose to the top.

So focusing only on Freshsales I am very impressed with all its features and ease of use. No programming has been needed yet and I have been able to fully configure it myself . The more I use it the more I like it. I rarely take the time to leave a comment, but Freshsales is a great product. Well done.

Completely Unacceptable

They updated their app a month ago, that update completely broke the app for us (cannot use most of the time). Our production outage issue, a month later, still unassigned. Terrible.

Extremely weak and buggy

Don’t take my word for it, just read the version history.

They have not added a single feature to the app in over a year.

Every month or two, they update it with “bug fixes,” which themselves often introduce new, more detrimental bugs.

Ask yourself, how are they still dealing with bugs a full year after the last feature update (which was a trivial feature).

And by the way, they care even less about the Android version.

Very hard to use

This needs to be rethought very unintuitive

Can’t edit

It’s a bummer how you can’t edit. But must be fun customizing your own CRM. Can’t wait to us it. Oh and hopefully it’s as good with google chrome too ugh

Great product

This is a great product!

New to me

This app is new. Therefore my experience is fresh. So far navigating is fairly simple. I do see value here. As our team becomes more familiar, the value will present itself.

Very easy to use

I recently had the opportunity to use FreshSales, and I must say, it's one of the most user-friendly CRMs I've encountered. From the intuitive interface to the seamless integration with other tools, FreshSales truly simplifies customer relationship management.

Extremely buggy and slow

Basic things take for ever to load.

Most features don’t work. Waste of time.

This app is not user-friendly. Can’t delete emails. I can’t even actually find my email on my phone app. It’s not easy to navigate and a lot of the functionality is not there. I’m really not sure how this app can be useful for this platform.

Scam/Thieves

Please do yourself favor an not use this company. I signed up paid $180 and got no help to fully set up so I let it go and chop it up as a lost. I never logged in the system again. A year later they went into my account and deduct another $180. I immediately contact them and was told any ticket was open. 2 weeks went by no contact from anyone another week go by I sent another email and did a chat on the computer. Later that day the original rep that signed me up called saying he see that I never used the system or logged back in and the system was never fully set up. I explain is because I didn’t get any help and when I tried she told me she had to help other customers after being on the line with me for 20 minutes. So I got frustrated and felt I was scam when o was told there will be a rep to help me, but no one ever did. She said she will personally process the refund in 2-3 days it will be in my account. Well here we are 9 days later no money. I emailed her and she said oh it’s Easter Holiday so it’s delayed. That was the moment I knew they have no intention of returning my money because at this point it’s been over 30 days plus it was not Easter 9 days ago when she promise to refund my money. I am out $360 and no CRM and zero help. I will be contacting my bank tomorrow and advise them that this was a unauthorized charge from these crooked scam artist and I will be sure to advice everyone on all major platforms not to use this company they are crooked thief’s

Not good

Microsoft programs are not good. Not impressed with fresh sales. Anything else would be better. Sales Force is much better

Trouble in customized sales activity

The App is easy to use and view information, however in recent updates we notice an error in the area of sales activity. We create some customized sales activities and none of them, despite appearing in the app, wr were actually able to use. It is returning error 500. Can you help us with that?

FreshSales - Good - But issues with Reporting

Web based UI and App work well. Easy to configure with support of docs and chat. Biggest downside I’m experiencing is with the Reporting through the Analytics capabilities. Bottom line - there is an issue with the accuracy of report graphs and underlying tables. I’ve had multiple instances where totals are incorrect and groupings for bar charts simply ignore the content of the Group By field and will group as “- -“ or (no data) in the field. I have to open a support ticket.

Each time the first “go to” reply to a support request for this issue is “Please wait 45 minutes after updating a record to run the report as it takes time for the data to sync with Analytics.” I then have to explain that it has been days, weeks, or months since the records in question were updated and the data is still wrong. They will then open a ticket and a few days later that report will be correct with the explanation that they did “something” on the “backend”. I never get input on the root cause - just that it’s fixed…until it’s not.

Very frustrating that I can’t count on the accuracy of reports - that’s kind of the point of Sales Management via a CRM.

This smacks of a serious infrastructure implementation issue that needs to be addressed.
