Very convenient – strongly recommended
Very convenient app which synchronises well with the web version thus allowing it to be used on desktop as well. Strongly recommended.
Easy and easier
It’s already super easy to use this app, but if you’re exceptionally lazy like me, you can also download Gemini and just tell Gemini what you needed to do. You can literally just say Gemini put this on my task list for this time and Gemini will say done.
GTasks is helpful and simply but could use a few more features
I really like how integrated and simple GTasks is with the Google ecosystem. I wish it were a little more user friendly by having 1) an easy “reschedule” button like Todoist has, and 2) the ability to add sub-tasks would be really nice.

Getting organized
Great App, allows you to tick of tasks and especially for really busy people who get distracted. I find in retirement I am probably more busy than when I worked a full time job.

Keeps crashing
I used to use this all the time but now I can't even open the app. I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it still crashes on open. Back to using Apple Reminders I guess

The app keeps crashing without any warnings. I’ve uninstalled, installed and updated the app but I am still unable to open it on my iPhone 11.
Won’t open!!
I have been using this app for a while and really like it, but the past few days every time I try to open it it just crashes. Tried updating and resetting my phone, still no luck. Hopefully this can be figured out!!
Great integration! Too simple tho
I would say this is the best app for those who use smart assistants to set reminders. google assistant of course works but you can use the newer gemini to set reminders with natural language. you can even put a screenshot into gemini and it’ll put the reminders into tasks automatically. i would like it if they added location based and app usage based triggers for the reminders

I use if for daily tasks, and things to remember in the future. Super easy to use and features let me create reminder lists that fit my life!
Zero for release notes
Bug fixes an improvements, what the hell does that mean? Just try putting something reasonable in here just one sentence that says what you're changing. It's not that hard.

This application has been useful for implementing David Allen’s “getting things done” but this app could be more helpful
Helps with organization!
Tasks helps me organize all my to do’s in one place. From business tasks, personal, and joint, I can organize everything in one place and assign dates/view it on my calendar. Love it!
Still no badges
Years later still no red badges telling you how many tasks are due or overdue.
The new update 26 is disappointing.

It requires better phone but the issue is switching google calendar accounts doesn't work when I switch the whole interface page stays blank, have to close the app and reopen to show the switched account calendar. Also the account switching - how are the google accounts now sorted ? It was alphabetic by the account name descriptors. Now they seem to be random. Not happy.

Easy enough
Easy to use. Syncs across web to any device signed into same Google account.
Note 1: to move a task between folders: open the task to be moved, near top of left side of task, click the down arrow, select the destination folder. Done.
Note 2: to rearrange tasks: tap and hold the task to move, drag to new location, release. Done. (You can increase/decrease indentation in this functionality too.)

No search function
The application would be much more useful if there was the ability to search within the app. The only way to search is to do it in the Google calendar application. If you lose the search capability in Google calendar (which is a known problem that I have not been able to fix), both Google Calendar and Google Tasks lose a major function that I depend upon. I am looking for other applications to use instead.

Reorder Lists
No ability to reorder the lists themselves??? Everything else is good. No I do not want to log in from a computer to move my lists. No i do not want to rename my list then move all the tasks to a new list. This seems like a fundamental feature this app is lacking.
Simple but great
Really like how simple but effective it is and how it ties with Calendar. Would be even better if the app can list by deadline like the website or Chrome app.
