Slow and inconsistent to load

Crashes / unresponsive

App crashes repeatedly … and takes over 15 seconds every time to open files that were previously opened. I’m glad my work paid for this app as I wouldn’t pay a dime for this

The planning tool most people managers need

Most businesses are small and medium enterprises. This means that most managers are managing small teams and they need efficient tools that are not very complex and readily usable to manage teams of 2 to 20 to 200. Microsoft Planner does exactly that. With absolute no learning curve and designed to be integrated within the organization managing small teams with plans, portfolios and tasks. It works across platforms and devices.

Thank you Microsoft. I wish I had known about Planner sooner. I wish it’s more widely known.

Plan view is painful

It’s a start… at least I can see tasks assigned to ME on the go. Initially plans group by favorites but then once you click in, good luck. It’s random. No sorting to get back to the list of favorites. The desktop browser version calls these pinned. So annoying… but better than nothing.

Missing Task Chat

Web-based software application was updated and the comments in the task card became Task Chat. This update is missing on the mobile app

The app provides a board-like interface where tasks can be organized into buckets and easily moved between statuses.

What are the key features of Microsoft Planner?

Key features include a visual task board for organizing tasks into buckets, the ability to assign tasks to team members, track progress through drag-and-drop functionality, and collaborate directly on tasks with conversations and file attachments. The 'My Tasks' view offers a consolidated list of all assigned tasks across different plans.

Is Microsoft Planner free to use?

What devices is Microsoft Planner compatible with?

Microsoft Planner is designed to work across all your devices, allowing you to stay updated and manage tasks whether you are on the go or at your desk. This ensures that team members are always on the same page regarding project progress and task statuses.

How does collaboration work in Microsoft Planner?

Collaboration is a core aspect of Planner. Team members can work on the same tasks, attach photos directly to them, and engage in conversations around specific tasks without needing to switch between different applications. All discussions and deliverables are kept within the context of the plan.
