Doesn’t work
The instructions don’t work as per the gov.uk website. Says open the app and click the “download the app” in the browser, but that doesn’t work, you just get a blank page.
This app is pretty much useless. I hope this isn’t what the UK is going to use in order to implement digital ID!

Spent over an hour trying to take a picture of my passport , will not work, waste of taxpayers money for such a shoddy app

Too difficult to access. Will not update to current version. Not everyone wants to buy a new iPhone just to please you.

Hard to use
I had to try this several times with both my passport n my driving licence I had to do it in the middle of the day to finally get it working again after several tries

Just explain that for the part with the chip, the camera needs to touch the chip at the cover of the passport

Really struggled with getting a passport photo ax instructions were not clear enough
Unable to connect to gov.uk
I tried several different iPhones , and XR and 15 and both came with error message. I hv already proven my Identity with the post office but the final link does not work. It is incredibly frustrating. This app should not have been launched if it does not work seamlessly.

Over complicated junk that puts innocent users through a million unnecessary hoops then still refuses to let one access their message to see how much they are going to rip one off in tax this time
