Unusable
I have had Grow Credit for several years now. I even stayed with them when they shut down completely and then reopened after they shifted their lender. Now they are doing a “short-term” “company wide system integration upgrades” but that means all cards have been locked, no one can pay their subscriptions, and the current accounts are basically useless. I have not personally been able to pay any of my bills since March. There is no timeline available for customers for when this “short-term” situation will end. When you are budgeting, as most (all?) Americans are doing right now, this creates a huge problem for the plans you have in place and when bills will be paid, from which pay periods. I appreciate being able to bundle all my smaller bills and know when that will come out of my account, and the tiny boosts o my credit the account provides. However, this is completely unacceptable and ridiculous for customers to have to deal with in this economy. Fix it and get things working again.

DONT DO IT!!!
Used to be a really good app and service. Then they switched and started “updating” and it was a complete waste, over a month of “updates” and “ it will be back soon” always canned always the same agent, always “I am a live agent”. Don’t waste your time!
Small Credit Gains, Big Headaches
I’ve been using Grow Credit for a few years, so I can give an honest review based on my experience. If you’re planning to use it for larger recurring bills like phone payments, I’d be cautious. In my experience, the payment processing can be inconsistent through certain bill payment portals.
For example, a payment might go through one month, but then the same company may not accept it for the next few months. I’m not sure why, but it can be frustrating and unreliable.
Another issue I’ve noticed is that Grow Credit doesn’t allow you to make another payment within 30 days of your previous one. So if you paid late one month and want to get back on schedule the next month, you may not be able to. That can make it difficult to stay current and may lead to a cycle of late payments unless you skip using the service for a month to reset the timing.
Overall, it feels like the app and service could use improvements on the backend to make the experience smoother and more user-friendly. Oh did I mention you’re not able to change your address within the app?
Yeah…smh
Also, after using Grow Credit for years, I personally didn’t see a major impact on my credit score — only a small increase. For me, the hassle outweighed the benefit.

Grow Credit was once great but has now been ran down
Had them for a few months and everything was great until they were bought out. The new “system” they use had me locked out for weeks and o was constantly tossed AI like word salad on when it would be fixed.
Finally got it working and the subscription payments have been hit or miss. Imagine thinking payments are being made only to receive emails that your card has been declined. Then you reach out to customer support and get the same canned response. And then being told we would suggest using other options until the issue is fixed. What they don’t stop is the monthly fee coming out every month even when you can’t use the service you’re paying for
