Why order?
Too many times I’ve been left with no delivery after being assured for two hours that it was coming. It was never dispatched. And I think I’m going to be discharged

Disappointed
I have placed a GrubHub order maybe 20 times and a handful of times they have delivered it to the wrong building/wrong apartment although my address was correct on the app. this is terrible because when I order from GrubHub, I order because I am starving and tired. So some nights I go to sleep without food when they deliver to the wrong address.. Very inconvenient.

Ordered a $65 steak and baked potatoe. I got someone else’s chicken breast instead of steak. Grubhub resolution was a $35 refund so basically I paid $29 for a baked potatoe. What a joke. I ordered often and this resolution will be the last because taking my orders elsewhere

BRING BACK DARK MODE
This app has so many problems, but I could at least use it up until this recent update which completely removed dark mode. I switched over to DoorDash because it’s cheaper and I don’t get a headache after 10 seconds.
My thoughts
Honestly a lot better than Uber Eats no crazy fees and always has promotions for free items or discounts which is nice because I’m almost never paying full price for a meal and it’s amazing service as well!
Use DoorDash instead
There’s no reason to use GrubHub over DoorDash- higher fees, higher upcharges on menu items, far worse customer service. I had photographic evidence that my delivery was delivered to the wrong address yet my refund was denied
Dark mode is missing
Dark mode randomly disappeared and there isn’t a option to switch it back
Bring back dark mode
I use this app more than I should and it makes my life easier. But about a week ago it re erred to white mode and it hurt my eyes. Please either put a toggle in so customers can decide what they would prefer.
Not enough drivers in my town.
I ordered at 12:10pm to have something during my 1-2 lunch break. I don’t have a driver until 50 minutes later. By 1:10pm my driver still is further from the restaurant than the restaurant is from me, and isn’t even in the right island. Projection is 1:42-1:57pm. This is unacceptable. Even if I order 2 hours in advance, my food would be in terrible condition.

Blinding bright white screen
Opened app and it’s a blinding white screen that cannot be set to dark mode. Ridiculous update! Would give zero stars if allowed.
Absolute Worst Customer Service
Much rather use Door Dash. Order was missing items and was wrong. I asked for a refund and was told my order was not eligible. Paid over $40 for no food and a wrong item.
Highly recommend Door Dash. When I had issues with orders, they were a lot more helpful and understanding. Will never use GrubHub app again.

I have always been a loyal customer of Grubhub. They offer all the restaurants that are available in range of your house. They significantly discount the fees if you are a Prime member. And they just offered me a free year of GrubHub+ which is mysterious and exciting—I’m getting my first restaurant order now with a $10 off monthly coupon!

Not Super Impressed
I have to stress each time I order from Grubhub because Grubhub’s GPS takes drivers to the wrong location, sometimes I get my order and sometimes I don’t.
I’ve contacted customer service multiple times, but it does not get fixed.
Also, Grubhub’s fees are a little extreme, even if you have Prime.

Bad Service
Would be nice if they actually honored their advertisements like the grubbing gurantee or make it accessible to get ahold of some versus a bot to talk to. Horrible service.
Where’d the extra adverts go?
Thank goodness they’re gone, what an annoying thing they were, never a single thing that anyone would really want. Just randos flung at me, laughable that anyone got talked into paying grubby stubby for them.
