garbage mandatory app
it is now impossible to log in to the website without this app. ridiculous to expect people to do this while sick. additionally the password reset locked my account so i have to email support. useless
Why is access always denied
Dumb UI. Good luck loading your Clipper Card. It doesn’t work on the app and the website won’t let you log in.

Never able to login
I have only ever been able to login to health equity on 1 desktop computer that I own! It has been frustrating trying to get the app on my iPhone to be able to login. I have been trying for a year now. Hopefully they will be able to find a solution soon!
Mandatory passkeys screwed it up
I’m guessing there is lots of fraud so someone there thought the way to combat it was mandatory passkeys. It’s created so many more problems!
Can’t login. Passkey is unless.
I can’t login with the passkey and I called them to ask about it. They “opened a case for it” and never got back to me. I can still use the physical card but can’t access the app to see my balance or submit for any reimbursements.

Impossible to log in to your account. Passkeys always display a technical difficulty/error message. So frustrating, would expect better from such a widely used app.
Passkey is not necessary
A simple two step verification would be fine. Will not use app until that is the case. We should not have to lock our phone for one app
Very buggy for reimbursements
In trying to submit a receipt for reimbursement (the main point of the app), the app crashed on probably 10 different attempts. Ultimately I will have to call customer service to complete this action. Stupid app. Should be illegal to have an app this bad when you are handling people’s money
App on iPhone
This app is super buggy. Expense entry screen freezes when trying to upload expenses. Tried THREE TIMES to enter a DOS of July 2. THREE TIMES this stupid app changed the date to July 3.
This company, as a whole, is so horrible that at benefits renewal time this year I’m switching to a more expensive, non-HSA plan - because, unfortunately, we don’t get to choose our own HSA bank service. Cannot stand another year with this company.

Honestly hate the new passkey requirement, cant login and the passkey set up failed. Why cant IT stop overregulating everything
Good company, bad app
HealthEquity is a great company for managing HSA’s, but the app is awful. Constant issues and faulty save buttons that send you into loops. You can’t get anything done on here. Go to the website.
So far no good
Benefits just switched to this app and so far can’t even log into it. Can log in fine on safari so don’t know what to say— bad first impression at least.

Their systems are janky and they don’t take responsibility. Send your HSA money to Fidelity instead. (Partial transfers)
Stupid app doesn’t do the math & annoying
The available fund $301 and I request $301. App said that I requested more money than what available fund has.
While I was on the app and I took more time than the application, the application popped message to ask me more time. I click yes and the application erased all my work/lost all the entries. I have to re-enter everything again. It is annoying.
Check your stupid app and test it throughly before you release it to the users.

Horrible interface
This app is so frustrating. It boots you out every two minutes no matter how active you are. I was in the chat for over an hour today and had to resign in every two minutes. I lost access to any draft. I would be in the middle of typing or scrolling or clicking and still get booted. I understand idle timeouts, but this was not any of that. Eventually the chat stopped loading after I went back in. Surely this is not ideal for the customer service agents who are on the front lines and now have to engage with increasingly frustrated clients. The engineering team seriously needs to look at that. I was on the mobile app. Maybe the website version is better

Stay away like the plague; you’ll lose your money and no support
Health equity has to be the worst app we have ever used. For four years we have struggled with this app. It crashes most of us can’t login, limited to using the website; reimbursements go missing, faxes get lost, money disappears, transactions are duplicated or missed altogether. It’s horrible. Four years down the line nothing is fixed. It just gets worse. The support doesn’t work anymore. The phone lines break up and there is no response for six months at a time. Finally my company was so frustrated, they moved to Fidelity HSA and we have been extremely happy ever since. Avoid this company like the plague.
