Train being cancelled to get to Paddington
We were not happy as our train to Paddington was cancelled without any explanation - we eventually managed to get an Elizabeth line train to Paddington
Thus train was exceptionally crowded and as we had a lot of luggage this was not at all comfortable - we had to stand all the way!

Ripoff
We bought tickets a day in advance for our trip. App sold a ticket and didn’t make it clear it was for same day only. So, when we arrived at the station, we had to buy a second set of tickets.

Unable to register to change or refund my tickets due to invalid email error although email is fine and sent my purchased tickets. No tech help is available

My ticket is refundable, and there is a button that says Refund however it doesn’t work “Something went wrong” super unhelpful

What difference does direction make
The app is ok but it should be super clear when buying a ticket which direction you are travelling. Why default to outbound ticket starting from Heathrow, why not allow a default setting based on previous purchases. Messed up and had to cancel and reorder yet again. Then beyond the app why do they not just allow tickets to be used in either direction!?
