Terrible app
Prices are great… if you can actually find a driver. Genuinely don’t know how this app still operates in Canada.
Takes hours to get a ride
Last night I paid a ludicrous amount to get a 15-20 minute ride and was met with driver found followed by driver cancelled ride at least 30 different times. I then was forced to pay a ridiculous fee for priority just to get a ride only for it to take A WHOLE HOUR to get a driver who wouldn’t deny us a ride. Your drivers are so entitled please fix for anyone left who hasn’t gone back to just calling a taxi

Awful service
I can’t even fathom how frustrating this app is. Numerous hidden fees and extra charges with abysmal customer service. Constant cancellation from drivers. I will never recommend this app and hope they recognize they are using customers with their awful business operations.

Recommend to use another app
Not easy to find a ride or you have to wait for a very long time unless you pay extra for prioritising. Driver cancelled drive frequently even if they confirmed. Customer service is not helping. Price is not cheaper.
Parking spot
Designated parking areas negate the reason to even rent this in the first place

The bike did not work and the lock was broke. Keep saying that I will be charged for not locking it correct correctly when I can’t when the lock is broke.
Wasted 30 minutes of my ride, trying to park it somewhere where it had to be parked to in my ride manually, pushing it there.

Got stranded cause of this app
If you want to be not heard. If you want to be threatened , if you want to not get back your money because you needed to cancel your ride because the driver was being weird download this app. If you want your money to be randomly taken double times and sometimes tripled download this scamming app.

Terrible Service
This app is by far one of the worst ride share apps to exist. The drivers are constantly cancelling rides when they’re only a minute away. The drivers take whatever route they want instead of following the map and the customers get charged for a longer ride because of that; same with the drivers taking the 407 and customers getting charged for the 407 when taking the 407 was never necessary. If you run into any issues with this app and try to contact the customer service you’ll be left waiting hours on end to hear back from a real person just for them to not help you because the ride was completed. This entire app is just a money laundering scheme. 0/10 do not use this app or you will be disappointed!

Could ride only for a minute, after that it never kicked off

Looked at 2 scooters and 1 said not working so I picked the other one and the only way it worked is if I rode it like a skateboard

Sketchy drivers and no ability to report incident
First time I tried to use Hopp I was paired (after 3 minutes of waiting) with a driver. He immediately called me to ask me the rate that I was paying for the ride. He then asked that I pay him in cash instead. When I told him ‘no’ he canceled the ride on me. There is no ability to report this type of incident and it left an extremely bad taste in my mouth. Called uber right after and got excellent service. Very disappointed with my Hopp experience and will likely not attempt it again if these are the type of drivers that the app attracts.

Disgusting driver and unhelpful customer service
My driver accepted my trip but keep driving around the pickup point for 15min then just drive through me and trolling me like a joke. Customer service was a disaster, just AI and can not understand the problem. This app allow mental problem driver so this is literally not safe at all for customer. Who read this review shoud delete this app
