Great for budgeting and saving money!
I think this app is great if you want to get started with budgeting, especially if you want to get out of debt or are saving for a big ticket item. The fact that it’s debit based means you will only spend dollars that you have (no credit cards that you pay the following month). It’s great for people who have difficulty tracking their credit card spending and paying off their credit card in full. Bonus that the app design is so cute. I love the Money Pot Feature for this purpose because you can assign a specific savings goal for your pots. I also love the round up function where it rounds up all your purchase. Round numbers are so much easier to rmbr/track when budgeting and it’s always a nice surprise when you realise your actual spend is a little less than you thought because of the rounding. Minus 1 star as I feel like log in is a bit slow. Sometimes I don’t received the SMS OTP to get into my account or it takes me a few tries before I can log in. It’s really annoying. Please fix!

Easy to use interface
The app is very easy to use and navigate. Super user friendly and even includes tutorials of how to use the different features. My favorite feature is the money pots, as I have attended a course before which asked us to use physical money pots which I have not gotten around to doing so. Having the money pots in the app make it way easier for me to save the money for different goals.

Clear UI
The app UI is very clear and easy to navigate. I just downloaded the app and was able to very quickly understand what are the different features in Hugosave (the pots, roundup etc). The roundup feature sounds cool but personally I don’t use debit cards and I prefer to use credit cards to earn miles/points, but I can see how this can be useful for students just starting out.

If you looking to make some simple investment, Hugo is the app to go! Its interface is user friendly and easy to pick up on! The money pot is easy to use and works like a digital piggy bank, making sure you make your monthly savings to ensure you meet your saving goals w/o overspending :) However I would appreciate if the app can stop asking me enter my pin each time I minimize out to other phone apps(I.e WhatsApp) that are less than 30s, maybe if I did not return to the app in 2mins, then the safety feature of entering the pin again would be nice. (Personal preference)

I really like the HugoSave app for its easy-to-use interface and the variety of features it offers. My favorite feature is the Gold Vault. It's a fantastic way to invest in gold regularly, I love how I can set aside a small amount every day, making it easy to build a solid financial foundation over time. However, it's worth noting that deposits aren't covered by SDIC in Singapore, which might be a concern for some users. I recommend considering SDIC coverage to give users added peace of mind and make the app even more appealing.
