BE AWARE!!!! Recovering lost items are near impossible
When you rent cars with socar please be mindful you will most likely lose any items you leave in the car. The CS chatroom only gives you answers that are on manual. Nothing more. Any question you might have regarding retrieving your item, you are not getting any answers.
I asked to visit the car again to retrieve lost items despite 3 h one way train ride. They set the time for me to open the car. Somebody deliberately put my items in the trunk underfloor storage compartment. Had i not lifted the trunk floor mat and looked into it, i would have lost my only chance to get my stuff back. It is known that if you rent socar and come across lost items (someone else’s lost items) they ask you to put lost items in the glovebox. These information is not available when i contacted CS. Who would have thought anyone would put lost items in trunk underfloor storage?
If there is protocol for putting lost items, socar can do better job and notify.
When you search google with socar lost items, bunch of blogs come up and they all say terrible service. These information is not available to foreigners.

I love the app and I use it quite often. Luckily I have a parking lot with SOCAR nearby which makes it very convenient for short rentals. However I wish the app was also in English, so I can take advantage of all the options inside of it without having to go back and forth between the app and the translator app.
