Reviews are bad but it’s not that bad
Everything works fine for me with iPhone 15. Maybe the app could be more up to date with more infos and graphs but you get the essentials with it.

Unusable
In the current version on my iPhone a message pops up when I log in that greys out the rest of the overview. The message is partly cropped out and I can’t scroll to confirm or close the message. As a result I can’t navigate to any accounts and the app is basically useless versus going on the desktop site.

I have been dealing with IG wealth management with my RRSPs for over 3 years. returns on funds are often eaten up directly by service fees. when trying to withdraw the funds or transfer them to another institution they delayed sending me information, lied about sending it and full on ignored my requests. a simple withdrawal process i started September 12th still HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED! the agent Andrew Vanderhorst has been rude, dismissive and unprofessional through out the entire process. never in my life have i been so poorly treated by a financial institution. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS ORGANIZATION!

Needs accessibility improvements
While the app displays everything correctly, it is hard to read on an IPad Pro.
I am visually impaired and very nearsighted. I need the ability to make the fonts/text larger and easier to read.
I could always use the website directly but the app should be updated.
Note that if I use the IG.CA website on my iPad Pro, I can use the 2 finger gesture to zoom in on the screen.. the app does not allow this.

No Access
App worked fine for a few months. Now, it rejects my password (even though it is correct) and disables Face ID. So I reset to get access and enable Face ID again. The next time I try to use the app? It rejects my password and no Face ID again. Garbage app. The company I work for chose IG, not me. If they can’t figure out an app in this day and age, it makes me wonder if I should be moving my money out.

App is significantly worse, no Face ID log in anymore and even when my password is correct it won’t log in but I can log in online through the web no problem…. Why? This is a pretty simple app there should be no issues like this…. Hire a new app department

FaceID login does not
work, and the password field is not configured properly to allow Apple passwords to recognize it. It’s been this way for at least many months now.

How do the app developers keep their job?
The issues just keep happening, the app developers and their managers need to be fired. The app is glitchy, updates are done during the day, why? All updates to corporate websites should be done in the early morning hours (between 1am and 4am), when most people sleep. Investors Group, we expect better, reading back, issue after issue has been happening for years and I for one am tired of them. What will it take for you to get this fixed once and for all, do we need to take our money elsewhere?
