Poor customer service
I appreciate that they do make numerous mistakes, we all do, however, getting them rectified is impossible and they never respond to messages. As for ‘a greener stay’ it is extremely difficult and sometimes impossible to get the points added. Then there is the false offer of 20% extra points after ten nights, it does not happen, we stayed for 14 nights in total and were told that it does not apply after 10 but only when they say so.

We love all hotels IHG! We have stayed at several in many different cities! You can always count on them being clean with friendly service!
Bait and switching pricing from app
My stays with IHG are typically pleasant but I recently noticed and bait and switching pricing. From an initial search at price of $184 was quoted, then as I went to select it became $212, not including the taxes (that’s fine).
There’s not need to play these deceptive games, just quote the price accurately.

I have used the IHG app for years to book hotel rooms all across the United States and Europe. It’s super easy to use, explains exactly what type of accommodations you will be staying in, it shows all options available to you for different room types, etc and exactly what you will pay for your room including taxes. You aren’t left guessing if you will be charged for something not listed, etc. love this app and I’ve always loved staying at IHG hotels.

5 Star Front Desk Service
Comfortable best, amazing shower pressure, unclean tile floors with hair and unmopped dirty spills or something. Unclean room floors. Comfortable temperature. Good breakfast- typical of free. Friendly breakfast host and super friendly front desk at night and in AM. Would come back!

Point + Cash Cancellation Policy
The cancellation policy when you selection points + cash needs to be changed. The transaction should be able to be reversed for cash if done within the allotted cancellation period.
