WTF IT CRASHED
I was making an account and it crashed everytime so fix your bugged app
Not very user friendly
The developers have gone out of their way to disable voice to text as well as copy and paste functionality in sending messages. Messages have to be typed out manually. It’s better to use this service on a regular computer where you can modify JavaScript settings in your browser and remove their weird restrictions

Unreliable App
I have to uninstall this app at least twice a week because it buffers and will not send the messages and also my husband was transferred to another facility I had to create another account O was able to transfer the money but noe of the photos were transferred even though its the same inmate with the same company guess thats a way to spend more money to resend the same photos

Update error
Updated to the newest update and now I can’t get in the app. It kicks me off everytime. It worked perfectly fine before then.

I was ok with the app even though I had to wait for an email to tell me that the person responded. But since I updated it when I hit the app it kicks my out of the whole app with a black screen and how having to use the website which is very inconvenient bc I’m not good with remembering my password and having to login everytime I get a message so please fix the glitch

Purchasing credit
You have to go to your browser and go to the inmate inbox from your web browser.you can’t yet purchase credits through the app .

It does not allow you to purchase more credit and you can not use apostrophe and sometime message just disappear

Create account via website before using app
Took me a while before I figured out I could create an account only through the website (inmateinbox.com), and only after I did that could I log in to the app and use it. Wish the “home page” of the app gave those instructions. Also, I wish I could use PayPal to buy credits. I am unwilling to enter my credit card information onto a website for an app that has only a few dozen reviews. So I have to wait until my loved one has earned enough credits to read my message. I’m thinking I need to open a new credit card account to use only for this app - something pre-paid with a very low limit - until I grow to trust that my info. will be safe. I do receive notifications, so the earlier reviews that complained about that seem to no longer apply. Seems the app was built for android users, so some of the advertised functionality (eg, ability to use PayPal) does not yet apply to iOS users.

Everything is great, except you can’t purchase credits through app. You have to go online, which takes you through the same log in process so it doesn’t make sense.
