Very bad

Very bad experience with IRCTC eCatering. Ordered food for my kids during travel and the food was never delivered. Customer service was completely unavailable, even the helpline number was not working. When I called the hotel directly, they said they were never even notified about the order. Had to struggle late at night during the journey because of this app. Refund also not processed yet. Totally unacceptable service.

Nice experience only when customers don't do mistakes

27 Apr2026, I ordered chole masala bhaji 147₹ total in Maharashtra express 45 min before COD. When they confirmed order, i called restaurant they said yes don't worry we will definitely deliver just be on your seat. Nice packing, nice plates to eat, spoons, pickles, salt pack etc. taste was good, quality good, don't hesitate, be patient and do order, don't make mistake like keep time buffer in order and delivery, make payment properly in time. Thanks team. Ignore old low rates and order with confidence

Frustrating experience with delays and support

Outdated Timing: The app doesn't sync with the train’s live status. Even when the train is running hours late, the app still allows food booking based on the scheduled arrival time. This results in missed deliveries or cold food because the kitchen isn't tracking the actual location of the train.

Broken Support: I tried calling the official 1323 helpline multiple times to resolve a timing issue, but I kept receiving an "invalid number" message.

Very bad experience

Train got delayed by 4 hrs, there is no straightforward way to cancel order. Contacted caterer to cancel it and they denied cancellation from their side. They asked me to cancel from my side. I sent mail to cancel order, couldn’t find any order cancellation steps. Then they called me again asking why I left poor review.

Fraud Under IRCTC umbrella

This is the totally fraud apps do not order food from here, Neither they delivered food nor respond u after getting payment.
Terrific and horrible experiences with me and other my friends.
We order the food 2 stations before and 3 hour before, we are hungry but have patience we will get food and then will sleep.
When our train arrived at designated delivery station, we start looking to delivery man.
But we couldn’t find , we called him but no also not connected no given 1323.
We wait tried to call until train is not departing. But not able to connected.
They don’t feel at least they will inform us if they dont want to delivered.
We loose our money
We loose or time and we sleep in hungry empty stomach.
