Absolutely appalling customer service. I paid for an order using Just Eat credit, the food was never delivered, and despite contacting Just Eat and explaining what happened, they refused to refund or restore the credit I had used.
So I’ve effectively lost money for food I never received, and Just Eat seems perfectly happy with that. The issue isn’t just the failed delivery — it’s the complete lack of accountability afterwards.
I expected a basic refund for an order that never arrived. Instead, I was left out of pocket and dismissed by customer service.

Still can’t order from a restaurant that’s 2 and a half miles away. You used to be able to before, not anymore now. Which makes you want to not use the app at all! 2.5 miles is a 15 minute Cycle in London. Faster on a Moped, filtering through traffic. Moped is what most food delivery drivers use anyway. Allow us to order from restaurants that’s 2.5 miles away, just like how it was before!

Ok but doesn’t always get it right
Ordered a few times from various Gregg spots and they don’t always send the correct order. Once had someone else’s order delivered. But like the food and persevere.

Just eat have some great discounts at the moment. These are good for people who live on their own and have to have an order over a certain amount or pay a small order fee which makes the order quite expensive. So the discount vouchers are much appreciated

I bought groceries and was disappointed at the lack of own brand availability, the price is already marked up and would be nice to have the option of more cheaper unbranded products.
Gives poor feed so food sits waiting and goes cold
Our food was ordered and cooked by Burger King however no driver accepted the delivery so it sat cooked under a heater for over an hour and 20 minutes before collection and when it arrived was stone cold and just eat have refused me a refund, not even offering a part refund to say sorry. Disgusting company! Use deliveroo instead they offer higher fees so food collected quick.

50% of the time the food doesn’t turn up the app doesn’t work. You can’t even contact somebody properly. You have to wait for everything to cancel before you get a refund.. just eat absolutely awful
